The denigration and put-downs of Biden were a strategic mistake; not only were expectations lowered to Joe’s advantage, but the credibility of those putting him down took a hit as a result.
None of the President’s base is going to fail to vote for him, but he probably won few, if any undecideds, while Biden probably did as he seemed calmer and more in control (albeit with the help of Wallace).
Moderators should be unable to interrupt, but mics should be muted when it’s not the person’s turn to speak, IMHO.
I think it a marginal loss for the President among those who haven’t decided; the people who already love, or hate the President didn’t change their minds.
Lou Dodds would have been a good moderator.

Normal people concerned about what’s going on in this country and the decided lack of leadership...from both political party’s. We could use a guy like Ross Perot and his money to start up a viable third party...it takes money and legal support to overcome all of the roadblocks setup by our current 2 party system to even get on a ballot.

Reviewing it, I get the distinct impression Trump was holding his fire, either for next debate or for a rally where he carts out all of Biden’s lies and half truths.

He could have been all over Biden by letting him get lost in the weeds but he couldn’t keep his pie hole shut for a minute. Biden spanked him with his talking into the camera. Trump should have ruled the night but sadly he didn’t. Can’t see how that makes me a dem mole.
The post-debate stories were already written and ready to post.
Trump *was* nice for about 2 min. But then he saw what was up and ran into the ambush, destroying it; anyone trying to push one of the pre-written stories would've given the game away.
