Trump thinks long range. This is like the first round in the ring. A probing of the opponent to determine what skills he has.
But unlike the ring, the real hits will take place outside the ring.
Much will happen between now and November 3rd in the criminal investigations and they will have much more effect on the election.

Interesting. Perhaps it is a function of what side you are on, politically. You want your guy to shine all the time, and are disappointed when they make a mistake.
We wish Trump did this or that, and they wish Biden did this or that.
I don’t think either man did well. They kept interrupting each other and talking over each other. Also, Biden seemed more coherent than at other times this time.

I wondered about that I do follow current events rather closely and I could not remember anything happening in Tulsa.
I did like the fact that on a number of major points Trump got Biden to dis the most leftist ideas. This may play well with the independents but will leave the Bernie Bros to wallow in tears.

Biden exceeded expectations and did well. Some actually said Biden wouldn’t even show up. LOL Biden spoke a lot of lies but he said them smoother than I expected. I doubt he is called out on any of them.
Trump did very well and in certain segments he definitely rocked. But Trump interrupted too much. No KO. Opportunity missed.

Biden was rambling, every answer he gave on policy was all over the place. Trump’s answers were more focused. But too many interruptions from both of them.
Assuming that's an accurate assessment it could mean that the Bernie Bros,and fans of The Squad will be angered...and will stay home...or vote for Jill Stein again.
Even,Trump looked beat up .
He was using notes and he was writing notes. Later we saw him holding a pen in his right hand. Much of the time Trump was speaking Biden was looking down at his notes.
Trump won because he got Biden to admit he doesn’t support the Green New Deal and he got Biden to say he does not support the deal he signed with Bernie. Those clips need to be made and the do some laughing at the dumb Bernie Bros and AOC
It may be up to Pence now.
I expect him to wipe the floor with Kamala.
