I regret to say that I agree.The one thing that I was most disappointed in about it was when Joe Biden went into his tear-jerk routine about how his son served honorably and President Trump called fallen heroes “losers,” Trump handled it very poorly. POTUS rejoined about Hunter’s washing out of the military.
Absolutely the wrong approach. The right approach (of course you know I would have done better </sarcasm>) would have been to draw Biden out and get him to double down on that ridiculous charge. Then point out that Mr. Trump had been instrumental in the construction of a war memorial in NYC long before he ever ran for public office - and that everyone in a position to have heard that statement - had he made it - denied it.

It was the same type of set up that the dems had for William Barr at the House Judiciary Committee.
Chris Wallace did exactly what we expected him to do. We have always known Chris' mind.
Yeah. Trump is not as seasoned campaigner as people think he should be. Too many people underestimated Biden’s lid program and meds.
But...
Trump made it clear that he cares. Very passionate. He cares deeply about the California fires, the riots, the vote counting, etc.
He will be ridiculed. What else is new?
And I think he uncorked something inside him that’s been bottled up for way too long. To campaign better, he had to let it out.
Right. At the end he was supposed to say why voters should vote for him. He harped on how many judges he’s appointed. Why not talk about his tremendous foreign policy successes; the increase in employment; the bolstering of Nato; the defeat of ISIS; the tremendous growth in the economy. Instead he went on and on about judges he’s appointed. Wasted opportunities one after another in this debate.
And his constant interrupting of Chris Wallace backfired. He looked desperate; red-faced and sweating. He needed a haircut. It was not a good night for Trump.

It’s simple. No one in a debate is expected to debate both his opponent AND the moderator.
The moderator is not expected to be an advocate for either side.
If you don’t think Chris Wallace was an advocate, you’re simply being untruthful.
Delusional. People need to speak and think honestly, not the Kool-Aid drinkers until the party line. Tonight‘s debate was a food fight, disappointing. Trump was poorly served by interrupting constantly. The few times that Biden was allowed to talk, he wandered all over the place. Talk about the debate will be about the interruptions, not the substance. Which is disappointing. There’s nothing wrong, and you need to take a deep breath, with people talking about the debate, good and bad.

The debates are owned by the Left. I’m not disappointed at all. I love the Trump “tear ‘em up” approach. That’s why I elected him.
