Good grief you really thought this was going to be a debate......lol. It was set up to be a vitriolic and slanderous beat down of Trump. Trump fought back and didn’t back down. This is why we elected Trump.
The only winners tonight were Viagara, Eugenix, and Vitamin B-12 therapy.
I was really struck by Biden using various tones of voice
to solicit emotional responses instead of presenting
clear answers.
Biden did not need to interrupt Trump. Wallace took care of stopping Trump whenever he was about to make a strong point.
Trump won.
People saw Wallace running interference for Biden and Trump was right on every issue, that’s why Wallace could not help himself from doing it.
Biden is a skilled politician aka a charlatan. The bar was set low. He didn’t fade but I didn’t expect him to do so. He said that he and Obama were unifiers in so many words. They were not.
Kennedy just called both candidates “baboons” on Fox Business. Well, now.
I've seen more healthy-looking people lying in caskets in funeral homes.

Trump and his campaign agreed to the format and the moderator. Every four years I read conservative commentators saying the GOP has to stop letting mainstream media liberals run these debates. And then the GOP goes ahead and does it again. GOP truly is a stupid organization
Considering it was Trump vs. two opponents I think Trump did the best he could.
Wallace was clearly not a moderator, but a combatant. He should be ashamed of himself.

I agree. On the main thread early on I predicted that Biden would walk off the stage. To his credit he didn’t. He hung in there. And with Wallace‘s help, he won the debate.

One of those debates that Biden will get credit for today because he survived, but after analysis Trump will have won on points by November 3.
Nothing will change my vote but there are so many idiots out there who will fall for the media/democrats lies that it scares me.
I can see why Trump has to be aggressive and interrupt if he has both Biden, who is calling Trump a clown and racist, and Wallace interrupting him.
In contrast Biden's attacks were poorly executed, the usual bulging vein drivel that even the media doesn't believe, the Atlantic attack, etc. Biden didn't pull those off well and gave up and didn't follow through. Couldn't name a name except Kelly Anne Conway.
Trump even said at one point am I debating you Chris or him. Says it all right there. Trump is talking and Wallace is interrupting him as he is speaking. unreal

The format wasn't very well designed for a debate. Wallace often loaded his questions to Trump with dubious assertions that demanded corrections and Biden didn't respond to many of Wallace's questions.
Our nation should be thankful it has an educated, sophisticated street-fighter as a president.
