"I think the president made a mistake in not letting Biden expand his points."

I agree. Those interruptions kept rescuing Biden as he started stammering and running out of thoughts.

From what we’ve seen in recent months, I’ve wondered if she has any natural affection even for her own husband.

I thought the deal was both candidates talked for 2 minutes and then went into free form. But several times, after Biden lied or accused Trump, Wallace wouldn’t let Trump respond. Wallace would introduce a completely different question.

“Trump has all the leverage but he was too quick to reduce it down to trivial things.”

Try a little optimism for a change. The only place I lose my optimism is when I see posts on this thread like you and your nitpicking, anti-Trumper, Snowflake, weak-spined selves who pretend to be conservatives while verbally weakening Trump by sniping at him, the only man that stands between freedom and socialism the end result being the loss of our country.

Because you don't understand that most undecideds break for the challenger - always. Right now that means that slow joe is going to get about 80% of those 10%...so a debate style that tries to secure your vote - that he already has - is dumb. He needs suburban women - that are still undecided.

But yeah - you have the answers because a debate that leaves FR fired up - who was already GOING to vote for him (his base) is SMART! Yeah - that works. (so stupid).

It's not 2016 - it's 2020.

So by all means work that strategy. See how it works out for you.

They both interrupted Trump twuce as much.

Trump is a NY street fighter vs sqishy RINO pussies cowering at home wearing masks.

Trump kicked ass.

Two takeaways from tonight:

Trump: “I will open the economy and the vaccine is weeks away.”

Biden: “I will close down the country again and stop hurricanes with electric cars.”

Not sure there is much a person can do to debate both the moderator and the opponent at the same time.

Trump actually did well getting his words and points in despite a huge number of interruptions.

He could have driven home more points, but again, interruptions.

“Biden destroyed himself in Pennsylvania by talking about zero fuel by 2035. He can no longer claim he is not against fracking. They heard it with their own ears. No more new refineries or LNG plants.”

Rogan O’Handley (@DC_Draino) also tweets:

“Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Michigan just went Red tonight”

Two more debates. Typically one on foreign policy and one town hall.

Biden, in beginning: I am the representative of the democratic party.

Biden, when asked by Trump to call Mayors about the violence: why should I? I am no longer in elected office.

If a dummy like me can catch that, why couldn’t Wallace?

I do. Missed opportunities and I think Biden would have stumbled and bumbled more if he had the silences in which to ramble...

It is. Years ago insurance wouldn’t cover your pregnancy if you hired in and were pregnant at the time. It was considered a pre-existing condition that happened before you hired in.
