LIVE at 9 p.m. ET on Tuesday, Sept. 29: President Donald Trump and former Vice President Joe Biden take part in the first presidential debate between the two candidates. The Cleveland, Ohio event is moderated by “Fox News Sunday” anchor Chris Wallace.
From a tactical standpoint I think the president made a mistake in not letting Biden expand his points. Biden was fine as long as his memorized responses were short, but if he had to expand beyond a simple answer that’s when he got in trouble.
I went back to youtube for Biden speeches and his eyes do look black all the time.

Fair enough but Trump did not appear prepared to fight this enemy.

It is fascinating how the comments sound exactly like the comments from 4 years ago during and after the first debate. CNN was the target that time.
I never watch debates. The comments are much more entertaining.

Wallace probably was getting payback for Meghan Kelly. He certainly had an agenda and very likely gave the questions to Biden’s team.
If Trump would have kept his mouth shut, he would not have gotton a word in at all. I think people like Trump because he is not afraid to step into it and is a fighter.
He did it once at the beginning of the debate when he told Wallace that Wallace was the one debating Pres. Trump. That shut Wallace up for a bit. He should have done a bit more of that - point out his bias.

Biden brought up his dead son as a prop.....after repeating the disgusting story about Trump & the military. Trump owed Joe nothing. Joe disgraced his own son.
It's OK, Trump was not to be slowed down tonight. We elected Trump because he's a fighter not a lover of government. He fought tonight and all that posturing from Biden about being a tough guy, was just that.
