LIVE at 9 p.m. ET on Tuesday, Sept. 29: President Donald Trump and former Vice President Joe Biden take part in the first presidential debate between the two candidates. The Cleveland, Ohio event is moderated by “Fox News Sunday” anchor Chris Wallace.
Ari Fleischer saying it was a “train wreck” from both candidates. Pres started it, Biden jumped on board. Not one word about Wallace, naturally.
TRUMP debated just like the Democrat operatives on FOX News. He’s a quick study. He knew he had to keep talking over Joe to make his point. Wallace wasn’t going to give him any time. Trump beat the bully at his own game

He said “Are you talking about Hunter?” and Joe said, “no, I’m talking about Beau” and Trump said, “well, Hunter was kicked out of the Navy for using Cocaine.” Which, of course, is true. I am sure Trump knows about Beau. How could he not? Ole Joe drapes himself over his casket at every opportunity.

Wallace put out the list of topics for this debate. Immigration will be on one of the remaining two.
We may have just watched the first intentional “spiking” of a debate by a moderator to help the challenger.
