Former Vice President Joe Biden and President Donald Trump have struck a dead heat in the race for North Carolina, according to a poll released Monday.
An Emerson College/Nexstar Media poll of North Carolina likely voters found that 50 percent would vote for Biden, while 49 percent would vote for Trump. With the poll’s 3.6 percent margin of error, this makes the race for North Carolina’s 15 electoral votes a virtual tie. One percent of voters remain undecided.
The Emerson College poll in August had Trump leading by two points against Biden, or 48 to 46 percent, with six percent of voters undecided.

In the polling it’s up, but I don’t believe Biden is up at all in NC no matter what the polls are saying. Been there a lot this year and while certainly didn’t spend time all over the state, sure didn’t see anything that showed any movement away from Trump.
Same thing in OH.. comical to me that polls are showing it close there... everything I saw showed Trumps support is far beyond where it was in 16

I live in NC and have driven all over the back roads recently. I have seen H U N D R E D S of Trump flags, signs and bumper stickers and ONE Biden sign.
I try not to visualize that.

Trump won NC by 3.67% in 2016.
In the dem primary in 2016, there were 1,129,000 voters vs 2020 where there were 1,332,000 voters.
In 2016, the top dem Hillary got 617,000 votes, while Joe got 572,000 votes in 2020.
In 2016, GOP Primary, there were 1,150,000 votes, with Trump taking 462,000. In 2020, there were 803,000 votes with Trump taking 751,000.
