Emergency services in New York state are responding to a mass shooting in Rochester, local officials and witnesses say. At least a dozen people are believed to have been shot.
The incident began just before 12:30 a.m. on Saturday when officers were called to a shooting near Goodman Street and Pennsylvania Avenue, where a large crowd had gathered outside.
Details about the circumstances of the shooting were not immediately known.

Grew up in Rochester area - moved to Henrietta for second half of my 20 years there...so glad to have left in ‘74 and never moved back...even then one could sense it was heading down hill.

Pretty sure that audio is from the Portland law enforcement using full auto paintball guns with pepper ball ammo. The feed that says Rochester is not highlighted. The stream consolidation pages highlight the stream with audio. I heard that full auto suppressed sound on the Portland feed numerous times around then with protestor umbrella bearers being pushed back with pepper balls from full auto.

My wife works for the census. Nobody wants to canvas in the city- she would rather cover unibomber cabins in the woods than go there. City officials will be mystified when the results come out.
I’m sure this will turn out to be a shooting carried out with a legal gun, with a licensed owner who is a full-fledged member of the NRA. /sarc
I’ll see your 20 and raise it 20. Saw a slow and steady decline there over the years. I’d like things to be better for my old hometown and people I care about still there, but it looks like it gas a long way to go.
