Libertarian Party Presidential Candidate Praises Company For Firing Woman Who Posted “All Lives Matter” on Facebook
Summit News ^ | 08/05/2020 | Paul Joseph Watson

Libertarian Party presidential nominee Jo Jorgensen praised a company for firing an employee who had posted “all lives matter” on her private Facebook page as an example of the free market standing up against “systemic racism.”

Yes, really.

During a C-SPAN interview, Jorgensen argued that Rosa Parks was discriminated against because, “what a lot of people don’t realize is that that was a government-owned, government-run bus, and the only way that racism was able to go on for so long was the government was putting it into place.”

She then claimed that it’s harder for private companies to engage in ‘systemic racism’ because they would go out of business, before celebrating the fact that a woman lost her job for posting “all lives matter” on her Facebook page.

“There was a woman who on her private Facebook — this was highly publicized — her private Facebook put ‘All Lives Matter,’ and the company fired her,” Jorgensen stated.

“And what I’d like to make note of she wasn’t talking to or wasn’t tweeting a coworker, an employee, a customer, a client, anybody like that, and this was her private Facebook, not the company Facebook, and yet the company said ‘OK, we don’t tolerate that.'”

Maybe someone should point out to Jorgensen that saying “all lives matter” isn’t remotely racist and that disagreeing with this statement is in fact a racist position.

Under her ideal system, woke corporations would feel even more empowered to trample free speech, opening up millions more Americans to be viciously targeted by cancel culture mobs who intimidate and bully companies into policing their employees’ behavior.

Jorgensen also claimed that “private companies cannot discriminate as easily and get off as scot-free as the federal government.”

Presumably she missed the last 4 years of rampant social media censorship, which has overwhelming targeted libertarians and conservatives.

No wonder the Libertarian Party is a national joke.

Jorgensen makes Gary Johnson look like a bastion of logic and credibility.

Hmmm. At first I thought she was the first "Libertarian" nominee for President to be an ACTUAL libertarian since Michael Badnarik in 2004, but JoJo's bizarre support for the BLM fascists has me rethink that.

I heard she got rabies lately, that might be the ONLY rational explaination for all this.

::sigh:: Why aren't the Losertarians capable of even nominating a decent human being for President?

Don’t sigh, as DJ says this is good news (provided it’s accurate, I didn’t listen to her CSPAN interview and the blog is light on details to back up the headline).

This dumb bitch is less of a threat to take votes from us if she’s to the left of Biden on BLM. We certainly wouldn’t want them to nominate someone good that decent folks might be attracted to!!

My uncle’s wife voted for Gary Johnson twice (my uncle just the first time). I can’t imagine her touching this fruitcake with a 10-foot poll.

"Why aren't the Losertarians capable of even nominating a decent human being for President?"

Consider they're there to help Demonrats. The Demonrats haven't nominated a decent human being for President since Hubert Humphrey in 1968. Yeah, Humphrey was mostly wrong on the issues, but you'd be hard pressed to find anyone who encountered or worked with him that didn't have a warm opinion of him. (note I did not count George McGovern, because unlike Humphrey, his agenda was anti-American and despite a surface of "nice" and "pleasant", there was always an odd undercurrent of something very unpleasant and sinister below the surface).

Was Stevenson a ‘decent’ person?

I don’t think Stevenon was an evil person. I think he exercised some poor judgment in certain instances. I think he was soft and somewhat ignorant on the Communist infiltration in his capacity as Governor and prior government service. He was a character witness for Alger Hiss (though used against him in 1952, it also meant he didn’t really know him well at all).

Had he been President from 1953-61 given his tenure as Governor, I think there would’ve been a level of comfortability with pro-Soviets (not because he was pro-Soviet, but he would’ve, again, underestimated what was going on and not taken the tough stances required. Unfortunately, Ike didn’t, either).

In some ways, I’m not sure he’d have differed marginally from Ike in office. Of course, had he acted as tough as he did as UN Ambassador in the famous showdown with the Soviet Representative, “Don’t wait for the translation !”, perhaps he’d have been a bit better.

He’d not have wrecked the GOP as Ike did, especially in 1958. No Earl Warren as Chief Justice. Bill Knowland as Senate Majority Leader. LBJ staying Minority Leader. The good news. The bad news is that liberal Gov. Nelson Rockefeller would’ve probably been the 1960 nominee and winner. He’d have made Richard Nixon (still in the Senate at that point) Secretary of State, though. The Dems would’ve torn themselves apart in 1960 with a battle royale between the segregationist forces represented by a Vice-President John Sparkman and whomever the anti-seg Northern Dems would’ve supported (quite probably Humphrey). JFK might’ve gotten lost in the shuffle, but I think he would’ve been more loyal to Sparkman. Perhaps Sparkman, had he won the ‘60 nomination, would’ve picked Sen. JFK for balance (since he wasn’t exactly pro-civil rights).

Rockefeller would’ve probably received half or even more than half of the Black vote in ‘60. Perhaps he’d have been the target of an assassin before his term expired and would’ve been succeeded by his Vice-President, Barry Goldwater, who would’ve won in a landslide in 1964.

Perhaps Earl Warren, two years after he concluded 12 years as CA Governor. Everett Dirksen as the VP nominee.

Interesting, never thought there was a difference with that description. So basically, it’s the commies once again causing problems.

They need to be exterminated.

As one can tell by my username, when I signed up here 18 years ago, I considered myself a libertarian. But life is the first liberty. The whole idea of ‘my right to swing my fist ends at another man’s nose’ prevents someone from taking innocent life. That ended my support for the Libertarian party.

Directly from the mouths of their members. I’ve seen interviews where these people were laughing at the democrats that thought they were using antifa/blm and other commie groups to advance their cause because it was actually the other way around. The commie groups were using the democrats because the democrats were too stupid to know what was really going on. You will see lawn signs on houses and and bumper stickers on cars of those types of democrats. They are oblivious to what they are actually supporting.

I agree. There is no way of effectively deprogramming these people. It’s not impossible. It would a kin to taking a hard core Klan member and turning them into a advocate for racial harmony. It will get to a point where many of them will have to be exterminated or severely beaten into submission. The financiers have to be taken down too.

I knew someone who got clean in Stevenon.
Sorry, I couldn't resist.
Adlai would have been a horrible President. JFK spent some of his time in the Senate pissing and moaning about the increasing but still low-level US involvement in "Lay-OS" and the rest of "French Indo-China" after Dien Bien Phu, yet as candidate he complained about bomber gaps and missile gaps and spoke about the future of "brushfire wars". It's not unlikely that, having missed the VP nomination with Stevenson -- JFK joked that, had he won the VP nom, his political career would have been over -- he'd have fallen in line with escalation, but would likely never have been President.
Instead, the Soviet-driven "anti-war" movement and other bowel activity fell on LBJ, who claimed Goldwater would dig us in deeper, but after it was clear that waving the bloody shirt was working and 1964 was going to be a Republican disaster, he pushed the Gulf of Tonkin Resolution through nearly three months before the election, then won in a landslide.
OTOH, Stevenson was glib. During an outdoor stump speech, a big gust of wind tore away a bunch of his pages (no teleprompters then) and without missing a beat, he got a laugh with, "that's a break for you".

I remember an anecdote from someone pointing out his intellectual elitism: “Vote for Stevenson. He’s better than you.”

Another one showed Stevenson onstage with a notable hole in the bottom of his shoe. “See, he’s just like the working class.” Someone else saw it and said, “Don’t let this happen to you.”

As you know, I have a poor opinion of Eisenhower as President. He had 20 years of destructive Dem policies to roll back and he did nothing. The confiscatory tax rates alone (which had to wait for JFK). The Communist infiltration of the government and institutions, et al. Ike could’ve been a Dem and differed little in his governance, only that it left the GOP so weak that it would take until 1980 for the Senate to come back and 4 decades for the House. I’d have rather risked Stevenson to have prevented a ghastly decades of uncontested Dem legislative and state control.

IIRC, Stevenson had probably the second most dramatic death not involving an assassination of Presidential candidates or VPs (behind Rockefeller’s dying in delicto flagrante with his newly-installed penis pump keeping him saluting his mistress after he shuffled off our mortal coil). He dropped dead in the street of a massive heart attack supposedly after nights of passionate sex with Katherine Graham. Well, at least Rocky had better taste in girls.
