Yet in the West, Ahmadi spokesmen like the oleaginous and dishonest Harris Zafar and the arrogant and hate-filled Qasim Rashid carry water for the same Islamic supremacists who would cheerfully destroy their homes and places of worship and charge them with blasphemy if they were in Bangladesh (or Pakistan or Indonesia). Instead, Zafar and Rashid target those who stand up for the Ahmadiyya and decry their persecution, carrying water for their own oppressors.

Leaders of a minority Muslim group accused ‘fanatics’ of digging up a baby girl’s body from her grave and dumping it by a roadside.
The three-day-old girl was an Ahmadi Muslim and had only been buried for a few hours in a cemetery in Ghatura in the eastern district of Brahmanbaria in Bangladesh before being dug up.
Many mainstream Muslims consider Ahmadi Muslims to be ‘infidels’ because they believe their founder was a prophet.
Local Ahmadi leader, S.M. Selim, said fanatical mainstream Muslims had dug her up
‘Her crime is she was born to an Ahmadi Muslim family,’ said Selim.
Police in the district said no complaint had been made however and one officer said the incident had been resolved ‘peacefully’.
A local councillor, Azad Hazari, said he had intervened with police and the child was finally buried another graveyard some 10 miles (16 kilometres) away.
A local cleric Munir Hossain denied the body had been exhumed but said local Muslims prevented the parents from burying the baby at the cemetery.
‘It is against the Sharia to let an infidel be buried in a Muslim graveyard,’ he told AFP. ‘The pious Muslims of the village would never let it happen.’
The child’s father told the Dhaka Tribune he saw some ‘anti-Ahmadiyya men’ gather after the burial and exhume the body
What I have found is that these are usually patronage and corruption assignments. Its a real benefit for the NCOs to get out of the country, even to Somalia, and there might be extra pay involved. For the officers there might be potential for big corruption, kickbacks, smuggling foreign goods on the way home, etc..

When Mohammed made up his religion, he tried to give it credibility by claiming the he was just a continuation of a long line of (mostly) Old Testament prophets. And then to give it stability and permanence he went on to claim that he was the very last in that sequence of prophets so that nobody could claim to be improving on his work in the name of the Almighty.
He also tossed Christ in as part of the line of the prophets he was supposedly the fulfillment of, thus conveniently removing any complications from that quarter, as Mohammed could thus claim to be a completion on the words of Jesus as well.
So, “...and Mohammed is his LAST prophet.”

.BD is also the most densely-overpopulated country on earth, (as well as one of the most wretchedly poor) and nearly all of it is at, or just above sea level. Every time there are monsoon rains or a typhoon that hits the Ganges Delta, the Bangladeshi death toll is generally in the tens of thousands, but that scarcely even makes a dent, as .BD also has one of the highest birth rates on the planet.

Islamic polygamy is basically tolerated now in the West. When social agencies find multiple wives, there's no bigamy prosecutions, and in some places welfare payment are made to multiple wives. Same with female genital mutilation. Tens (100's?) of thousands of FGM victims in Europe and North America. Almost zero prosecutions. And with "honor" killings - they're still prosecuted (for now), but the Islamic angle is downplayed and the stories don't stick or even appear at all in national news.

Mainstream Muslims go not consider them Muslims, though they do, and they have basically the same scriptures (Quran and the Hadiths), practices and beliefs. I think Pakistan has it in their Constitution that Ahmadis are not to be considered Muslim. They're pretty despised by other Muslims.
One of their main differences with other Muslims is that, though they consider Muhammad to be the last and absolutely superior Prophet, they think the "previous" prophets such as Abraham, Moses and Jesus still have continuing validity, interpreted in a manner subordinate to Muhammad. They see the Torah, the Psalms and the Gospels as interim Scriptures of limited validity, and to some extent the writings of Zoroaster, Buddha and Confucius as temporary local prophets, as I understand it.
They don't believe in using violence to spread Islam.
I remember an incident a couple of years ago where an Ahmadi shopkeeper in London was greeting his Christian customers with "Happy holy day of our Beloved Jesus." He was grabbed by some non-Ahmadi Muslims, dragged out into the street and had his throat slit in broad daylight.
Oh gosh, I forgot to mention: the “holy day” the Ahmadi storekeeper was referring to, was Easter Sunday. Ahmadis don’t believe Christ even died on the Cross, let alone that He rose from the dead, but just greeting Christians in such a cordial way on a Christian Holy Day was enough to get his throat slit by other Muslims.

Islam has the Shahadah - the prayer they recite 5 times a day that is La illah allah, muhammad al rasurillah, shadwan al rasurillah — “there is one god, and muhammad is his prophet.
To them it is an article of faith that Muhammad (piss be upon him) was the “seal of the prophets” - the last prophet.
Ahmaddiyyas say no, their own dude came after Muhammad and was a prophet as well. He adds to the testimony of Mo.

The difference, Katana - is that the Muslims will find precedence for this in their Hadiths - so divine justification, in fact divine commands to do this
