The 130-year-old brand features a Black woman named Aunt Jemima, who was originally dressed as a minstrel character.

No, she was dressed as a cook.

Oh hell....Put her in Whiteface and get it over with. This PC is ridiculous. Bet there are plenty of Black women who still make pancakes. Well...you are no more..only white folks make pancakes.

Whats Aunt Jemima going to do for a living now that shes lost the only job shes ever had? :-(
At her age, I imagine shes too old to play in the NFL.

Mt maternal grandparents ran and lived above a store literally on the wrong side of the tracks in Laurel, MS until 1963. My parents took over until it sold, we lived there almost a year, I was 9.
All of my friends were Black, my best friends were brothers and their mother looked exactly like Aunt Jemima. She was the sweetest, kindest woman I ever knew. She would pick me up and hug me, almost smothering me, and say I was her "Little White baby boy".
She forever influenced my view of older Black Women. Quaker is doing a great disservice.

Hey Quaker, why have you just now decided that Aunt Jemima is “racially insensitive”? Why wasn’t it racially insensitive last month, last year, or 5 years ago?
Quaker, let’s be honest, there is nothing racially insensitive about Aunt Jemima! She is a beloved American icon! Sadly, you chose to give into the intimidation of the ghetto ferals of BLM, who are nothing more than domestic terrorists. You are gutless, lazy fools who deserve to lose your A$$es over this!

Remove the Quaker and change the name of the company as well.
Atheists aren’t happy with it.

Moving forward, only party approved Victory Maple Syrup maybe consumed. The Monthly ration has been increased from eight ounces to four ounces.
