Courtney says she was home with her son whos been doing virtual learning since schools shut down in March.
So, I answered the door. The police officer was, he was very nice. He explained to me that he was coming to address an issue with my son's school, Courtney told Project Baltimore. And then explained to me that he was here to search for weapons, in my home. And I consented to let him in. And then I, unfortunately, stood there and watched police officers enter my 11-year-old son's bedroom.
Courtney was told someone had seen the guns in her sons bedroom during a Google Meet class on his laptop.
I thought, this is outrageous. This is despicable, she said. I had no idea what in the world could this be over? BB guns never even once entered my mind. How many 11-year-old boys have BB guns?
According to emails Courtney later exchanged with a school administrator, a screenshot was taken during the online class. The principal of Seneca Elementary was notified. Courtney says she was told the school safety officer then called police.

From what I have read from other sources, the officer ASKED to search the home and she gave permission. She should have told the officer to f*** himself and slammed the door.

She could have said, “No, come back with a warrant.”

If the schools can invade your home and negate your rights, what do you suppose they are doing to your childrens minds, DAILY! The schools now 'invade' your child's mind and place things in it that you would NOT allow (if you knew about it).
WE need cameras in each class so that WE can see what is going on in schools!!

So when your kid is in a virtual class, the teachers see your home as an extension of the school. Since the school is a gun free zone, so is your home and they see a weapon they will send the cops to investigate. Thats outrageous, and another reason to home school.Exactly. She says the principal initially compared bringing a weapon to a virtual class to bringing a gun to school.

Safe Place provides access to immediate help and supportive resources for youth in need. As a community initiative, the program designates schools, fire stations, libraries, and other youth-friendly organizations as Safe Place locations, which display the yellow and black sign.

No. Just ask the officer for the warrant. When he cant produce smile sweetly tell him how sorry you are he wasted his time driving to your home and ask him if yuh can get him anything before he leaves. Not the officers fault he was sent there. You may actually need a be police at some point

Baltimore is zimbabwe and is no longer America. Seattle is no longer America. The mayor condones crime and has lost control of her city. She is a she and has no ball.
Her police chief looks sweet but also is a woman with no balls. She has lost control and it will never be regained.

Remember all: The Vampire rule apply to police officers, too.
They cannot cross the threshold to you home (without a warrant), *unless invited in*.

Yes, I read the article and saw her consent. I was pointing out she should have asked for a warrant which is when the police would have gone to exigent circumstances as the reason to enter without a warrant. I should have been more clear.

So what happens when the kid stands up at some time during the lesson, and has no clothes below the waist?
Might immediately get an A for the class.
or . . . ?
