Attorney General William Barr has told people close to him he’s considering quitting over President Trump's tweets about Justice Department cases, an administration official says.
The problem is that -- unlike any other Executive Branch agency -- the DOJ operates under Judicial Branch oversight in its legal proceedings on a regular basis.
He needs to shout it from the trees as only a birdie can do. Tweet away! Love my potus!

I hope he stays. I think Trump unloads on the left after they pick their nominee. Why waste political capital when the commies are eating each other up? Patience.
I suspect that the few here who do understand why Barr has a problem are either lawyers or know lawyers.
Most everyone else just thinks Barr is the Swamp (and he may be)
Never ceases to amaze me how so very many Freeper’s who are as a group people that should know better; Should is the operative word, jump on every bit of “news” reported. Immediately forming opinions based on the assumption that the “news” is in-fact actual news even though it has been demonstrated ad nauseum that most “news” regarding republicans in general and President Trump in particlar is most aften completely false.

Why are people around here so quick to believe AP all of a sudden? Like liberals, if the fake news is consistent with their biases, people just lap it up like gravy.
I agree; Trump needs to stop the tweets or he may lose. People do not like chaos, and constant personnel turnover is a sign of it. Barr hasn’t been perfect, far from it, but he has made the right people mad and for good reason. He cannot operate with the constant undercutting this tweeting is doing; why Trump needs to do this when he has moved into a strong position post-impeachment is beyond me. Its almost like he’s trying to lose.
The DOJ under Barr is a useless Swamp enity filled with equally useless Swamp dwellers. I hope to God Trump fires off a volley of Tweets right up Barr's ample arse. And should that bother you, please vote for someone else. We understand.

I love this website, but I have to occasionally remind myself that it’s filled with people who truly believe that formal political and legal proceedings should be carried out like pro wrestling matches. They’re entertaining, but you can’t take them seriously.
Here’s an out of the box choice — Larry Klayman! He is a lawyer, and definitely wants to go after the swamp!
