President Trump is making good on his promises to “drain the swamp” and cut Obama-era holdovers from his staffs, especially the critical and recently controversial National Security Council.

Officials confirmed that Trump and national security adviser Robert O’Brien have cut 70 positions inherited from former President Barack Obama, who had fattened the staff to 200.

Since entering the White House, Trump has relied on staffs smaller than previous administrations and has noted how prior president’s had a much smaller NSC team.

The Russia Russia Russia investigation that the Keebler Elf refused to kill/recused himself from, which led to the Failpeachment. Now that that’s over? Open season.

fbi and cia need a massive culling. Might even be time to end the cia stench where it effects the US citizens.

Why did he need to wait 3 years?

Russia, Russia, Russia. It would have been used as more ammunition in claiming he was proceeding in “doing a massive coverup of his treasonous perfidy by cleaning out anyone who could expose his wrongs doing.” President Trump was hamstrung by the investigations.

President Trump was hamstrung by the investigations.

True, he now has a window of opportunity before the certain next attack. He needs to act post haste.

Firing is not good enough. There needs to be arrests, indictments, and prison terms for some coup plotters, or these people will simply be rehired during the next rat administration.

Not to be redundant, but WHY didn’t he do this sooner, like right from the start? What misery we all would have avoided.

Should have done it the day after he was sworn in.

Exactly right, this should have occurred the Monday after the inauguration.

That was the plan. Then the Deep State took out Flynn and maneuvered their boy McMaster in to the NSA Slot to obstruct the MAGA agenda. One of the ways he did that was protecting leaking traitors like the hoaxblower.

That is one mistake. The rest of the article is fine. And it seems to have been fixed now.

I’d be fine with while new agencies. Locate them out in Nebraska or some such, far away from DC, and make any currwnt employees thereof reapply for thwir positions, with no guarantees. I want a fresh crop of far fewer, doing much less—but with integrity.

Preibus was a horror. He is the one who brought in Johnny DeStefano, who for years has made sure no MAGA hires made it into Trump’s largely corrupted admin. Yes, it is on Trump for having mismanaged hos hiring from the start and really amazing that he has accomplished what he has, given all the vipers he brought into his admin.

And Fortunately Trump booted finally DeStefano last year, though I don’t know whether his replacement was any better.

——Why did he need to wait 3 years?——

Because it didn’t matter.

He had his own advisers and those fired one were just ignored in the meantime

It was not a rodeo matter, it was an executive matter. President Trump knows more about hiring and firing and keeping advisers close than any recent president. The only President even close was General Dwight Eisenhower

He probably took his lead from when LBJ was told to fire Hoover when he became president. LBJ said he would rather have Hoover pissing out the tent then into it.

This might sound like paranoia and maybe it is... Since Obama was president, I have seen unusual 'hacks' such that I feel it is someone in the Government.

For example, on Friday may wireless mouse was turned 'off'.

The switch was still on the on position, and it was as though someone 'electronically' hacked the mouse. I turned the mouse from 'off' position to on.

In terms of 'capability', if one relies on 'wifi' from a source like a cell tower, then it is certainly possible for someone in the 'government' to have 'code' to had hardware.

When George H.W. Bush, I remember a story of a mainframe printer (IBM 370 type printer) crashes Iraq's computers in the 1st Gulf War...

Did people in the Obama administration abuse power? Clearly, the 'ILLEGAL' FISA horse manure fits that.
