DES MOINES, Iowa — Hillary Clinton is finding out what it's like to be on the long list of Democratic also-rans.
The party has, for years, discarded losing presidential candidates such as George McGovern, Walter Mondale, and Michael Dukakis, among others — to the point that they're often treated as contagious diseases, seen at best as cautionary tales about how not to campaign for the White House.
Fair or not, Clinton has, in many ways, had that dishonor bestowed on her. Having lost the 2016 election to President Trump in one of the biggest political upsets in American history, the former first lady, senator, and secretary of state, 72, is a pariah among some Democrats as the party's nominating season kicks off Monday with the Iowa caucuses.
Democratic Michigan Rep. Rashida Tlaib on Friday night, for example, booed Clinton from the stage of a campaign event for Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders, the runner-up in the 2016 Democratic contest. Onstage in Clive, Iowa, a panel discussion Tlaib was participating in turned to Clinton's recent comments bashing the socialist White House candidate, 78.
"You all know I can't be quiet. No, we're gonna boo," Tlaib said. "That's all right. The haters will shut up on Monday when we win."
Clinton angered Democrats when she said in an interview promoting a Hulu documentary, she would be reluctant to support 2016 nemesis Sanders should he secure the 2020 nod.
The pushback against Clinton is now in full force after she's been on the national stage for nearly 30 years. I certainly hope she is finished as a candidate.....I can see her swooping in on a white robed wheelchair at the convention to pick up the pieces of the campaigns she has destroyed by leaks and manipulation...hopefully even the demonrats are not this dumb...

It is part of her legal defense strategy.

She thinks that she can claim that any attempt to prosecute her for her crimes would be a political move.
She also threatens political destruction of anybody who tries to prosecute her for her crimes.
It’s not ego, it’s fear of prison that drives her now in politics.

Any honest observer of the Democrat selection process of 2016 would have to acknowledge that Hillary needed considerable DNC ‘insider’ help to defeat Bernie Sanders for the nomination. Then when you consider that she lost in 2008 to a political nobody named Barack Obama you have to conclude that she’s simply an unattractive candidate. She’s mechanical. She surrounds herself with ‘yes-men’. And her instincts suck.
That last one is not her fault. She slipped on a turd (visible on the step). It was India after all.
Th “Squad” better pray that Hillary never does get power again.
There is some irony in the thought that a lot of loud-mouthed libs who’ve said they’d leave the country for Bush, or Trump or Name-that-R, would probably really finally leave, to save their lives from Hillary.
Didn’t two of her security detail in that clip die under mysterious circumstances?
