Liberals are breaking out in flop sweat that impeachment is going to backfire and that Donald Trump will be re-elected in November. So if you need someone to shake you out of your fears, there's always pseudo-conservative David Brooks of The New York Times. On the Friday "Week in Politics" segment on NPR's All Things Considered, he said Democrats are "crazy" to think Trump can win again.

Nina Toten-bag and Judy Drift-wood are ecstatic, and getting million dollar raises.
Never happen, too many conservatives say “but muh classical music.” Oh, and that stupid car show.
David Brooks is to conservatism what Antonio Brown is to modesty.
Didn’t he say the exact same thing in 2016?
About 15% of funding for NPR/PBS comes from federal or government funding. This is a private corporation.
Though I’d rather see ZERO dollars going to NPR, getting rid of the remainder is not a big priority. I’d rather fund the Wall with the same money.
Closer to 20% cause many stations are state funded campus broadcasters.
Defunding the left's propaganda machine isn't the highest priority, but it is symbolic.
It will be much closer than we want if POTUS does. I also am completely discouraged that NOTHING has ever been done to drain the swamp and stop this coup let alone election reform. The DNC has the playbook and the GOP is WORTHLESS to counter. The administration has been very good at surviving assault at every level but does not adequately fight back to actually hurt the enemy or in other words playing good defense and neglecting the offense.
That first encounter is still vivid in Brooks's mind. "I remember distinctly an image of--we were sitting on his couches, and I was looking at his pant leg and his perfectly creased pant," Brooks says, "and I'm thinking, a) he's going to be president and b) he'll be a very good president."

Another Goebbals moment..
This guy has been wrong more times than I’ve had bowel movements.
If Trump does win, there will be an assassination attempt.
If he doesn’t, he will at best be in jail, at worst be dead.
All of .gov is a swamp.
There is one thing that is in Trump’s favor, the economy.
Please see post 72. Thank-you.
The Dems have one thing against them, the economy. It is doing much better.
He’s a Republican in order to make even the MOST deranged pathetic RINO feel SUPERIOR. Hey, somebody’s got to be the very dictionary picture beside the word “insufferable”
the “most underappreciated political story of 2019.” Brooks said “everything happened and nothing changed, that we had all these events — impeachment, Mueller, everything, 51 weeks of news-packed weeks....And we’re exactly where we were a year ago. Trump’s approvals are basically the same.”
That’s right. You and your asshat friends haven’t made any progress on removing this president.
Yet, you claim so much success in vague areas to satiate your conceit.
PDJT will be POTUS for another term, during which time the SCOTUS will absolutely be remade into a conservative majority 7-2
Federal Judiciary will be populated by at least 60% by judges nominated by PDJT
9th circuit will no longer be overturned more than 80% of the time
The economy will continue to grow
Tax reforms will be further enacted
A few hundred more billions will be repatriated to America to invest our companies and people, which will create more revenue for the givernment
Etc, etc etc...
Christmas will still be Christmas and a National Holiday, as will Thanksgiving and the 4th of July or rather Independence Day...
Gun control will only mean holding one with both hands to steady your aim, as prop 63 and many other gun grabbin laws are deemed unconstitutional...oh, by a PDJT nominated SCOTUS...
Keep talking Mr. Brooks.
I want the Rats to think they have it in the bag.
That being said, I’ll Celebrate the moment the DNC Media has a complete breakdown on Election Night 2020. Until then, I’ll act like the Rats have a ten point lead. Trust but Verify.
Never underestimate the power of the Propaganda Ministry influencing the Brain Dead Electorate.
But, knowing “fat & Happy” Americans as we do, we should not take it for granted.
I like to tell my “non-voting acquaintances” that yes, the economy is great but each and every Dem candidate is campaigning top CRUSH it if they win. Maybe we should make sure they don’t win?
Rather Trump should campaign on the roaring economy.
Brooks dumped his wife of 28 years, with whom he had 3 kids, and married some chick 23 years his junior. Wonderful, huh?
