Liberals are breaking out in flop sweat that impeachment is going to backfire and that Donald Trump will be re-elected in November. So if you need someone to shake you out of your fears, there's always pseudo-conservative David Brooks of The New York Times. On the Friday "Week in Politics" segment on NPR's All Things Considered, he said Democrats are "crazy" to think Trump can win again.

I’m not too sure Trump will win. Here we are 3 years later and not one person has been held accountable for the attempted coup or the attempted theft of the 2016 election which tells me most likely nothing will be done in the coming 11 months as well, so why the hell would democrats not attempt it again even more so now? I can’t even begin to imagine what they have planned and they have pretty much been given carte blanche to do so haven’t they. Do you realize out of that whole swamp in DC, the only Democrat that has gone to jail has been Anthony Weiner for sexting? And that was just to get him out of Queen Hillarys face.

Polls are showing Trump extending an already comfortbale lead over the generic dem. Don’t perform in November the way the “fat and happy” democrats did when their candidate, you know...the one of boiled cabbage, farts, and urine...had a commanding lead in the polls.
The polls are the sole playground of the Dems and do not put it past [them] to try to recycle the strategy in their favor.

You’ve been here long enough to know better than your pearl clutching. Factual indictments take time, unlike the Democrat versions. Obama’s communists have had 8 years to dig their defensive positions, it’s going to take more than 3 years to push them out.
Brooks doesn’t have even believe what he says. He’s just pandering for ratings. Just like Juan Williams.
