I received word from 2ndDivisionVet wife that he passed away.
I am not using his real name here out of respect but, will ping his handle and his wife can if she would like.
I didn't ask what he died from but, knowing him for better than 10 years, I knew of medical conditions and a few terrible Operations he had.
He was a wonderful human being who cared deeply for his fellow Americans and the ideals that make this country so great that people the world over want to come here and be free, live in liberty and be whoever they want
If you have ever spoke with 2ndDivisionVet, you know he was quick witted and wry.
What had always amazed me about him was not just his humor but, his ability to somehow take life in stride despite all he endured and be cheerfull.
He was amazingly resourceful in scouring the web for article we might find interesting.
Yes, 2ndDivisionVet really cared about all of us and our presence in his life gave him purpose
I really wish God had let him stay but, my thoughts are more selfish than the absolute knowledge that he is in a better place.
I hope to see him again one day.
Rest in peace and smile down on us 2ndDivisionVet

Thank you for letting us know.
I liked his posts and looked forward to reading what he had to say.
Blessings to his family
A true loss to our forum. He was a prolific poster bringing a lot to the forum. Even in disagreements he was sincere and never over the top. I will surely miss what he contributed each day that is for sure.
It's getting there. He touched a lot of lives with his wisdom and experience.
I've read countless numbers of his postings. He will be sorely missed.
Yes. When I was for Rick Perry instead of everybody’s hero, Mitt Romney and don’t try to deny it.
And later when I wanted Ted Cruz instead of Trump. People here are really nasty; Ted Cruz was a good guy but no tolerance here.
Actually, I became, and still am, a HUGE Trump fan. I think I’m a bigger Trump fan than I’ve been of any President with Reagan a close second.
I’m not particularly a nice person about politics but not as bad as the democrats.
Yes. I joined the first day it became a site. I found it through a link on Drudge to ‘White Water’ I was active for years but kind of drifted away after being kicked off twice.
He was a great Freeper. He will be much missed...
Rest in Peace Brother, we have the watch, you stand relieved. May his family find peace in Gods love and know he has reported for guard duty on the streets of heaven’s scene.
Ive been traveling, shocked to hear this. My condolences to his family and friends, his posts here were always interesting and well thought out, he will be missed. RIP.
