Far-left Virginia Democrat Governor Ralph Northam announced this week that he will aggressively work to implement extreme anti-gun laws in the state now that Democrats control the state, including confiscating guns from law-abiding citizens.
During a Cabinet meeting on Wednesday, Northam “mentioned universal background checks, banning the sale of [semi-automatic firearms] and high-capacity magazines, restoring the law that limits purchases to one gun a month, and a red flag law that would empower a court to temporarily remove a gun from a person deemed to be a risk to himself or others,” The Washington Post reported.
“We will at least start with those,” Northam said.
When asked about confiscating guns from law-abiding citizens, Northam responded “that’s something I’m working [on] with our secretary of public safety,” adding that he will work with anti-gun activists on the issue.
The Washington Free Beacon reported that during the recent election, Democrat candidates were silent on whether they supported Northam’s extreme gun confiscation plan. The Free Beacon reports:

In his first major public appearance after the scandal broke, Northam called for a special session of the legislature in order to reconsider his gun control package, following the recent strategy used by prominent liberals of pivoting to gun control after brushes with controversy.

Yes, Northam and fellow leftists are anti-Constitution and treasonous, but it's very "not cool" to talk about shooting fellow Americans (although, I hesitate to call Northam an American or a true Virginian.)

Well, there’s one thing Viginians can do to counter this- every last law abiding gun owning citizen can become criminals- liberals will not only NOT go after criminals for anything, including breaking gun laws, they will provide them with sanctuary

That is the most subjective horseshit I've heard in my life. I could burn my hand on the stove and be considered 'a risk to myself'. It's an ambiguous, star chamber, sliding definition, subject to the interpretation of whomever makes the ruling that day. And all Virginians don't need to be shot. Only those who live in Arlington, Fairfax, Loudoun, and Prince William counties - THAT'S where the filthy nest of Leftists, radicals, federal government deadbeats, and parasitic migrants live. I know - I lived there. My buddy is ditching his house of 30 years over it and it moving to WV, where a lot of other soon-to-be VA expats are going. What makes VA bluer makes WV redder.
