(QUINNIPIAC UNIVERSITY) -- If the 2020 presidential election were held today, 54 percent of registered voters say that they would vote for former Vice President Joe Biden, while only 38 percent would vote for President Trump. Matchups against other top Democrats show:
Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders topping Trump 53 - 39 percent;Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren ahead of Trump 52 - 40 percent;California Sen. Kamala Harris beating Trump 51 - 40 percent;South Bend Mayor Pete Buttigieg leading with 49 percent to Trump's 40 percent.
Looking at all of the matchups, President Trump is stuck between 38 and 40 percent of the vote. These low numbers may partly be explained by a lack of support among white women, a key voting bloc that voted for Trump in the 2016 election. Today, white women go for the Democratic candidate by double digits in every scenario. Though it is a long 14 months until Election Day, Trump's vulnerability among this important voting group does not bode well for him.

Yes, and we have President Rodham Clinton today...Polls are not trustworthy...
You are right about that with respect to committed Democrats. But I think that an argument that will resound with Independents is,
"Do you really want to give the power of government to people consumed by hate?"
I would totally agree with you IF our electorate in any way resembled those of 1972 or 1984.
The fact of the matter is however that it has a far, far higher number of committed Leftists. You’re probably right that it’s not enough to win, but gonna be much, much closer than it ought to be.
Bet you house keys on it being right THEN we can talk.
Stick a fork in the President......he’s done. Let’s pack up our MAGA hats and gear and bid him adieu....../s
Yeah! Perhaps our Guy should just pack it all in..because its OVER! Ha, ha.
If it were the 1970s or 1980s Trump would get a 49-1 or 50-0... But I agree its not the 1970s or 1980s... However this is still a center right nation, and like I said, absolute HIGH water mark for the D’s is 15 states or so plus DC.. the further left whackadoo their candidate is, the lower that number will be... and if they go full on whackadoo they probably won’t get double digits.
And I’m the queen of England.

Polls are not everything but from where I sit too many people HATE (not dislike or prefer another but HATE) Trump for him to have any kind of cakewalk. Free Republic is a mirrored echo chamber.
I suppose one can count on all the closeted conservatives but its not a sure thing.
I got called. Lots of questions but divided into thirds. First were questions about who you would vote for. Next were concerning hate and racism ie which identity group is most affected. Last was environment, guns and red flag laws. The first set of questions were straight forward. Nearly all of the other questions were so convoluted in structure so the answer could be applied to any situation. Yes, racism is bad. But where is the follow up question of who is actually propagating the most racism?
Junk poll. I just wanted to see how bad the questions were queried. Like Michael Mannm hockey stick equations, throw on any numbers and you still get the same biased answer.
Thank you for this. Horrible how leading the questions are. They might as well just ask
Would you vote for a bad orange man who is a racist and all your friends will hate you forever? So I can put you down as a Strong No?
Fake news, just like the 2016 polls that showed Killary winning by a landslide.
The economy is humming and we are winning the trade war with China. As long as those 2 things hold true, Trump should have an easy re-election.
...and don’t forget, Hillary Clinton was a shoe-in to win in 2016...
Interesting report there, FRiend Tex.
What you state confirms what I think a lot of us know.
Still, you’re to be commended for having the patience to endure it. Back in 2016, I still could.
But the next pollster who calls here is probably going to hear something like:
“Are you a bunch of Antifas down there?”
Or I might just hang up without saying anything.
Uh, no.
Polls & Trolls, a marriage made in Hell

In 2016, their polling predicted many results that the experts laughed at until the predictions were shown correct. The Trump predicted victory in Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin. What polling expert predicted the same?
Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders topping Trump 53 - 39
percent;Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren ahead of Trump 52 - 40
percent;California Sen. Kamala Harris beating
Trump 51 - 40 percent;South Bend Mayor Pete
Buttigieg leading with 49 percent to Trump's 40 percent."
More Democrat Party/Left-wing media psy-ops against
the American public.
Gold standard? Here are their predictions for Nov 2016.
