In light of Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburgs history of cancers and most recently, a surgery to have cancerous tumors removed from her lungs as well as her absence from the bench, Dr. Joseph Bentivegna writes Bader, 85, is quite ill.
Dr. Bentivegna, M.D. says the media who have commented on Ginsburgs health are underestimating the severity of her illness, and that President Trump has a reasonable chance of replacing Ginsburg in his first term.
If Trump wins reelection, the doctor believes Trump has at least an 80% chance of replacing Ginsburg we believe that chance is much much higher.
The doctor laid out Ginsburgs history of illness in his blog post, but points out the most significant thing is the justices recent surgery on her lungs to remove tumors.
1. She had non-metastatic colon cancer removed in 1999
2. She had non-metastatic pancreatic cancer removed in 2010.
3. She had a stent placed in her coronary arteries in 2014
4. She fell in November of 2018 and broke three ribs.
5. She had surgery in December of 2018 and had two malignant nodules removed from her lungs.
6. Scans found no other cancer in her body.
7. She is 85 years old and has no history of being a smoker.
According to Dr. Bentivegna, the key here is what type of cancer Ginsburg had on her lungs. It has already been determined that the tumors removed were malignant, however, there is one more layer to this.
The doctor points out that we still dont know what type of cancer Ginsburg has:

Just a smidgen of panic when he said he wasn’t going to declare a national emergency. I’m better now!
“This is just as irrelevant and irresponsible as the diagnoses of psychologists who label President Trump as mentally ill without the benefit of a real examination.”
2. That said, he’s likely correct. Cancer hides itself very well, and Ginsburg has apparently reached the limit for chemo. So she’s likely to have it show up elsewhere.
She’s also extremely frail, and at nearly 86 her immune system is not as able to fight off opportunistic infections.
That all said, many people have been in similar circumstances and survived for many years.
Wayne Allen Roots comment had nothing to do with this article.
Sebastian Gorka also has one.
BTTT.
Very likely someone on staff has.
“DRs thought I had it, but it wound-up being Severe/Acute Pancreatitis I lost 131-lbs and died 2x, but they brought me back.”
Just wow. You’re literally a survivor. I couldn’t imagine going through something like that. Kudos.
How long could they conceal news of her death. Is it time to demand “proof of life”.
I agree....But my tipoff was “resting comfortably” rather than a condition.
Give up on two decades of conservative dominance on the SC to achieve a short term quasi-symbolic victory? No deal. No way.
I would add that most of the time it's directed at one of ours.
Thanks, it’s good to be here. I’m going in to PSU-Hershey Med Ctr for my 15th Endoscopy, and the pseudo-cyst on the Pancreas has been drained from the size of a grapefruit to the size of a grape, via stents put thru my stomach. I was 265-lbs going in, and 134-lbs coming out, after only ice chips for 23 days, and being IV-fed thru neck veins, and massive courses of IV-antibiotics. I’m at 159 now and needing to get to 170-lbs; working on it.
Like the rest of the self-annointed Ruling Class, she will linger until carried out feet first.
Kennedy, McShiite Stain etc . ..
and The People lose.
We all figure that, and he may even have sources. But the Dems are that thorough...they would do just that.
Lord that history is scary to read. I hope she does not suffer long.
When you are in your 80s or more there are no illnesses which are a cake walk.
Yes to both.
You lost 131 pounds in 23 days?! Good lord!
IF she would “notify” anyone, it would be Schumer-Hillary-Pelosi. NEVER Trump. Ever.
But, no. She would prefer to die in office. On her throne (er, seat) at the office. She ensures she will be Enshrined as a hero that way. A martyr to, well, Satan anyway.
I wouldnt say that. Making an educated guess based on her known medical history and the expected outcome for different forms of cancer, as in the current article, is reasonable. Rendering a biased and half-baked psychologic diagnosis based on analysis of speeches and TV appearances is not.
Yes, I’ve seen it.
