You are correct. Thanks for the link
One recurring episode on Hee Haw was Grandpa and Roy laying down in front of the cabin conversing (while some of the girls on the porch “listened” in the background).
My FAVORITE skit of this went something like this:
Grandpa: “Roy, did you ever learn how to swim?”
Roy: “Yep! My daddy took me out in the boat in the middle of the lake and throwed me over the side.”
Grandpa: “Well how did you do??”
Roy: “After I got out of the gunny sack, I did just fine...”
Lol
Same here.
That was awesome.
Thanks.

On the Tonight Show with Johnny Carson he wore a cap and said it was because he had hair transplants from his groin regions.
Carson asked him if when he saw a pretty girl he automatically tipped his hat.
I just put a bunch of his music on my playlist. He was an amazing guitar player. One of the greats.
Roy could play over 17 different instruments.
I hated Hehaw as a kid too, BUT, I did appreciate the musicians.
My brother in law’s band was excellent. They used to back up Buddy Owen’s band on a regular basis, among others like Frank Fontain.
I love being around GOOD live music. This past summer, I had a band coming to my house weekly, to practice.
Rest in peace Roy. I hope we all get to have a great party after the resurrection!
Great version of ‘Yesterday ‘
Thanks for posting :)

That wasn’t my caption. I hadn’t even watched/listened to it prior to posting. After watching I have to say the original was much better.
