Yes, I remember that Kelly broadcast the same as you do.
When President Trump fought back, clumsily at first , America took his measure and did not find him wanting.
Now the president is much smoother in handling his feminist attackers, but his fighting back skills began to evolve rapidly after the Kelly attack. Whats more he showed us all how to do it.

IF Kelly is going to get paid for the whole term of her contract, then, IMO, she is STILL AN EMPLOYEE of NBC.
IF I held that contract, I would make sure that if I were paying her, she could just sit at home, and that she could NOT work for anyone else. She is STILL MY EMPLOYEE. She cannot double-dip. Leave her ‘on the bench’, suited up, but no longer in the game.
By the time her contract runs out, no one will want her any more.
It's only $69 Million, $23 Million per year, for a 3-year contract, but she gets to collect all of it.
Just imagine the shame she'll endure, being unemployed, and probably needing to resort to food stamps.
