Breaking: @joyent, Gab’s new hosting provider, has just pulled our hosting service. They have given us until 9am on Monday to find a solution. Gab will likely be down for weeks because of this. Working on solutions. We will never give up on defending free speech for all people.

It’s possible that those wanting to shut down Gab purposely laced it with anti-semitic vitriol and porn, in order to discredit it.

I’m sure the deep state doesn’t want competition for Twitter, et al.

And a boiler-room full of people posting garbage is enough to discredit a site which says it won’t censor anything, in the name of free speech.

It seems many people here were confusing Gab as a conservative website. Simply because they were big freedom of speech defenders.

While freedom of speech is a conservative ideal, Jew hatred and pornography are at complete opposite ends of the spectrum.

MSN has leaned on Gab. Apple has leaned on Gab. Google has as well. All the above and more have exerted as much pressure as they can on Gab to censor free speech.

If you have any doubts about it just research what’s been done by the tech giants to pressure Gab in the last couple years.

Thank you! Gab is a great for free speech when Conservatives are being banned all over the place. If there is any speech one does not want to see, all one has to do is mute that poster and one will never see anything posted by the jerk again. That’s what I did with the Stormfront AHs that are there. I no longer see them at all. Yea!

I’m expecting ICANN to remove the DNS records for all of the ‘hate’ websites, i.e., any conservative website. The domain names won’t resolve though one will have the option of connecting directly by IP address. This would be timed prior to an election.

And when will public IP addresses be taken away from conservative sites. And without the providers, where physically will you connect your server?

The bottom line is that Big Government through it's crony capitalist companies is setting up a monopoly on communication and free speech.

Oddly enough, the latter will get you kicked off Facebook and Twitter a LOT faster than the former.

...and what happens if the bank representing the payor and/or the payee refuses to honor that check? There are chokepoints aplenty that can be formed and used by the forces of evil in this nation.

A couple days ago, one of the YouTubers I follow (I'm trying to remember which) said that the reason the U.S. Constitution made stuff like the Post Office part of the federal government was so that you could communicate with anyone without needing the blessings of a zillion private companies along the way. No one but the federal government itself could deplatform anyone from things like communication and banking; and the fed's ability to deplatform is severely limited by the First Amendment.
