Support for President Donald Trump is growing among black Americans, but its unclear whether that will translate into enough votes for Republicans to retain control of Congress in the midterm elections in one months time.
This apparent reversal of fortunes stands in stark contrast to Republicans inability in recent decades to attract much support from black voters.
Part of the growth could be due to defections from the Democratic side. Former Democrat Brandon Strakas #WalkAway movement has been encouraging Americans to share their personal stories of disillusionment with the Democratic Party and abandon, or walk away, from the party. The movement encourages voters to reject the influence of the far left on the Democratic Party, which in turn benefits the Republican Party and President Donald Trump. It is difficult to quantify the movements actual effects, but it is undeniably stirring things up in American culture.

It’s always nice to hear from the Falun Dafa contingent.
It's the black vote that keeps creepy white liberal 'elites' in power... It takes courage to get off the liberal plantation but God willing it'll happen.
Bump
20 points - men are 75-25 Trump Women are 55-45 Trump. Sounds about right.
Maybe a lot will go all “Kanye” on them and think for themselves...like God intended and Dems interfered with.
My recollection for that time was that polls showed a large majority of American blacks favored Thomas’s confirmation and felt he was being singled out because of his race. I don’t recall any polls on Anita Hill, but people react to individuals based on how that person makes them feel and Anita Hill definitely gave me (anyway) the feel of a sleazy, vindictive cheap shot artist.
Better.
:)
If they succeeded in derailing Kavanaugh, it would have drummed up high levels of fervor in their base. However, having failed - and done so using the most egregious tactics possible - it appears to be having the opposite effect. The dems are becoming demoralized and republicans are ticked off - and looking for piles of broken glass to crawl over to get to the polls.
That may sound pollyanna-ish, but I think the recent polls coming out show it. We’ll know for sure in about a month.
I don't remember polls from that time, but I'm from that community, and can tell you that there's never been much love lost on Clarence Thomas there.
He isn't celebrated among blacks because he's got the wrong politics.
He was attacked during his confirmation hearing because he's a conservative - not because he's black. Remember who was doing the attacking. It wasn't our side. Most blacks are liberals, and were happy to watch him burn at the stake.
There’s been a perpetual drumbeat in the press, and I assume more so in the black press, to portray Anita Hill as a victim and Thomas as a brute.
Thirty years ago the lies hadn’t yet marinated in the public consciousness. I’m a white guy with roots back to the Mayflower (literally) and New Amsterdam. For whatever reason, I found the persona of Clarence Thomas far more compelling than Kavanaugh. Thomas got where he was by hard work and intellectual honesty. Kavanaugh was born with a silver spoon in his mouth. This is not a knock on Kavanaugh, and I was truly appalled and angry at his treatment, but never took to him personally. I really like Thomas as person and feel blessed that he is on the court.

They will not give up now.
And the fake news scammers are in lockstep with them. Giving broadcast time to rioters screaming in agony.
Pray without ceasing!

He was attacked during his confirmation hearing because he’s a BLACK conservative!
.
That's the worst kind!
.
Yep dem bees the worstest kind! (for Dems anyway)
I will bet the irony in that photo will be totally lost on most libtards. Who is that Finch guy anyway?
