Support for President Donald Trump is growing among black Americans, but its unclear whether that will translate into enough votes for Republicans to retain control of Congress in the midterm elections in one months time.
This apparent reversal of fortunes stands in stark contrast to Republicans inability in recent decades to attract much support from black voters.
Part of the growth could be due to defections from the Democratic side. Former Democrat Brandon Strakas #WalkAway movement has been encouraging Americans to share their personal stories of disillusionment with the Democratic Party and abandon, or walk away, from the party. The movement encourages voters to reject the influence of the far left on the Democratic Party, which in turn benefits the Republican Party and President Donald Trump. It is difficult to quantify the movements actual effects, but it is undeniably stirring things up in American culture.

They will just double the number of false ballots since 2016.
Most black Americans were on Anita Hill's side, because Clarence Thomas was viewed by them as a traitor to his race.
That is the fate of most blacks who've jumped ship from the liberals to the conservatives.
Watch Derrick Lewis post fight.. It was an insanely great fight too.
If the Democrats lose few % of Blacks they are finished.
Blacks were loyal to the Republicans for 70 years because of Lincoln freeing the slaves. But then they switch to the Democrats when FDR gave blacks jobs in his WPA program. I keep seeing all these headlines saying economy is the best it’s been since the late 1960s. Well that was the last time that the Democrats were still the party of the working class. Neither party has done anything to help the working class for the past 50 years. You better believe that blacks will defect to the GOP if they feel that somebody is finally helping them economically.
No, they won't.
As a former black slave of the liberal Democrat mind control plantation, I can tell you that escape is only accomplished through heightened knowledge and awareness.
What has been seen, cannot be unseen. Crossing that razor wire puts one in a whole new world of facts, logic, and reason, that cannot be un-known.
Once freedom is tasted, you can never go back.
Thanks for the info. May it be a harbinger of things to come.
Even during the campaign, the only visible antagonism from blacks was coming from the black leadership whose income comes from delivering black votes to democrats. The black population itself didn't really have a problem with Trump. Now that Trump has been president for over a year, and have visibly brought better economic conditions and opportunities to blacks, his support has about doubled since the election.
The real anti-Trump resistance is almost exclusively feminists and social justice warriors.
Nothing would make me happier then to see Trump get over 50% of the white female vote and over 50% of the black male vote in 2020. The Leftists wouldn’t know who to lynch first.
That was me at the end of the Carter era. I wasn't ready to vote for an eeeeevil Republican, but I was finished voting for Democrats on a knee jerk basis.
I didn't become a reliable voter again until 2000, when I registered as a Republican to vote for GWB. I never looked back, and haven't missed a vote, since.
At this point, I think many see that there is something beyond the plantation, and have even taken a few steps outside the barbed-wire-topped walls.
But most are not yet ready to leave the safety of the devil they know for what may be the devil they don’t know.
We may see incremental improvement, as we did in 2016. Or we may not.
For blacks who are thoroughly invested in the 'progressive' agenda, one's politics are the sole determinant of guilt or innocence.
Black liberals hate a plantation escapee worse than any other human on the face of the earth.
That's certainly true, as today there are so many escapees calling to them from outside the barbed wire fence.
I only wish there'd been so many voices calling when I was still mind numbed, and toiling on the plantation. I might have left a lot sooner than I did.
I hope you’re right, and I hope I’m wrong.
But I think I’ll be disappointed on both counts.
I'm talking to you as someone who's lived that unique experience. I know from whence I speak.
Anyone who goes back to the plantation never escaped in the first place. Freedom is the most addictive drug known to man.
i was banned from a sight for mentioning #walkaway
Claimed it was Russian operation.
At least you did. Welcome home my friend.
I’ve worked with quite a few myself. It definitely gives them pride just like it does with any other race.
