New letter from Ford’s team to Grassley as obtained by WaPo ( Among other things, slam McConnell’s speech as “inconsistent” w/ Grassley approach, push back on hiring of “experienced sex crimes prosecutor” (whose identity they don’t know)
As this plays out I think we need to consider how Christine Blasey Ford will find her way into the American vernacular. In the same way Bork became Borked (a verb), Lewinski a noun (You got a Lewinski?).
I hope Ford is happy with how she will be immortalized. So what will it be?
She may - underscoring may - want to vote for him simply because of the way her staff has been treated - for entirely personal reasons rather than principled reasons, but if it is a vote, it’s a vote...the way her staff has been treated is beyond outrageous so that’s actually a good enough reason in this case.

I read in a couple of places yesterday she got around this law by NOT sending the letter to DiFi. She sent it to her local lib kook rep who then forwarded it to DiFi.
There will be claims of one or more “credible threats’ about noon Wednesday, and the poor little pitiaful wannabe witness will claim to want to testify so badly, sadly however, the threats just won’t allow her to take the chance.....
You missed other articles that discussed this. Ford sent it to a Democrat in the House...and that Democrat sent it to DiFi. (Therefore - Ford avoided any criminal liability for sending a lie directly to the Senate Judiciary Committee.)
Thank you, for that explanation. I was concerned the prosecutor was aiming for Judge K and was having trouble wrapping that thought around my head. LOL I’ll be so grateful if she can nail the liar.
A fair and credible process wouldn’t give her the time of day. They would prosecute her for criminal defamation.
1) Dianne Feinstein knows this is a sham, she knows rules of evidence. And this is so stupid, there must be more to it.
2) She should be CENSURED for this, and thrown off the committee, but the RINO’s are letting this happen.
3) But the hearings are NOT just about Kavanaugh, they are also about scaring off any future potential nominees too.
4) And they see the SCOTUS as their way to pass laws by judicial fiat, and this cuts them off at the top, for decades.
That last one requires much expansion to see how it leads to massive voter fraud in the upcoming elections.
The liberals see this as a decades-long setback. So they will delay this until after midterms, if they can.
I heard some one say all they have to do is delay until FRIDAY this week, and that effectively ends it until after midterms. 4 more days.
So, if they do, then look for them to GO ALL OUT with voter fraud. I mean they might just put printing machines cranking out votes in each democrat district, because only 57 or so counties have more democrat voters than 3000 or so other counties.
So... they manufacture all the votes they can, and throw away all the votes they can from conservative polling places.
Then they ‘win’ in a landslide- and ignore the screaming of voter fraud- who’s going to investigate? They will be in charge!
We could have VIDEO of them filling out the ballots themselves, and no one will do anything! They will be back in control.
BUT if Kavanaugh gets in before Friday- then all bets are off! Court cases can be filed in conservative districts and get appealed all the way up.

it was a letter TO Sen Feinstein. and by law it was a letter submitted to the Senate Judiciary Committee RE committee business.

I don't think someone facing prosecution under that law can get around it by claiming: "I didn't give the letter to Feinstein. The U.S. Postal Service did."

He probably wouldn’t get too far with a suit, but his wife sure would.
I would love to see her file suit against Ford, the committee Democrats, Avenatti, Ramirez, and anyone else attached — perhaps financially — to this travesty.
The death threats alone against her and her children should justify such a suit.
