Kavanaugh to Give Senate Calendars From 1982 to Back Up Denial
The New York Times ^ | September 23, 2018 | Pete Baker

Posted on 09/23/2018 2:36:20 PM PDT by Raebie

WASHINGTON — Judge Brett M. Kavanaugh has calendars from the summer of 1982 that he plans to hand over to the Senate Judiciary Committee that do not show a party consistent with the description of his accuser, Christine Blasey Ford, according to someone working for his confirmation.

The calendars do not disprove Dr. Blasey’s allegations, Judge Kavanaugh’s team acknowledged. He could have attended a party that he did not list. But his team will argue to the senators that the calendars provide no corroboration for her account of a small gathering at a house where he allegedly pinned her to a bed and tried to remove her clothing.

The calendars show, according to the person working for his confirmation, that he was out of town much of the summer at the beach or away with his parents. When he was at home, the calendars list his basketball games, movie outings, football workouts and college interviews. A few parties are mentioned but include names of friends other than those identified by Dr. Blasey.

He was the treasurer/accountant for several organizations, he LIKED doing taxes and kept receipts from way back. Good thing, as it has helped with his estate.

This ‘82 calendar report - if true - is not the only defending evidence that Kavanaugh has - bet on it.

The description in the NYT article sounds just like wall calendars.

From the article:

“The calendar pages are one-month pages with each day in a small box.”

That’s a wall calendar!

Not really - diaries and planners from your youth are exactly the kinds of things you don’t throw away, ever. I sure haven’t.

Well, I did have a few things I've kept since my high school days, and even earlier - like my 3rd grade report card.

Unfortunately, the cat whom I inherited a few months ago (long story) decided to pee on all those things.

So they're history now, probably polluting the Atlantic ocean.

Who keeps those?

I do. For decades. And I have them all.

Diane Feinstein has refused to let the Republicans on the Judiciary Committee see the letter she received from Christine Ford back in July. Grassley should not let the Democrats see these calendars before Thursday’s testimony.

It looks like he used a Franklin Organizer, not a 12 month calendar .

I believe she is requesting not to be under oath.

I have f*cking HAD IT.

Now she is asking to be able to lie with impunity.

Our legal system just died.

Gulags to come shortly.

Up until a couple of years ago, I had a box with written workout records for the 15 years I did the triathlon. I finally threw them away. They were too convicting in my current shape.

People do keep things.

I’ll bet Kavanaugh is keeping info about whom he was dating.. along with a wealth of other exculpatory evidence... very close hold until the right time. I believe the matter about the calendars is a message that he was highly meticulous in his record keeping, no doubt extensively influenced by his mother, also a judge.

Bet her brothers, both lawyers, are laughing their a**** off watching her bury herself.

Her older brother better not think of becoming a SCOTUS judge. His traumatized sister would NEVER allow it.

IF he has a calendar record for 1982, he has 1981,83,84, etc.
