Christine Blasey Ford has accused Brett M. Kavanaugh of attempted rape while they were both in high school -- a charge he unequivocally denies.
She can't remember the date the alleged attack took place. She isn't even certain about the year (although she reportedly thinks it may have been the summer around the end of her sophomore year when she was 15).
She can't remember whose house she was in. She can't remember how she got there.
She says she didn't tell anyone about it at the time, not even her closest friends -- so there are no contemporaneous witnesses to back her claims.

So far, there are accusations but no corroborating evidence. And accusations without evidence cannot be the standard by which a man's reputation and career are ruined.
Both Kavanaugh and Ford have been ill-served by Senate Democrats in this process.
Feinstein, the Judiciary Committee's ranking Democrat, knew about Ford's accusation for about six weeks and did nothing.
She never asked Kavanaugh about the allegations in private or in public. She did not use the confidential, bipartisan process that the Judiciary Committee uses every day to assess the credibility of allegations against hundreds of judicial nominees -- which would have given Ford the chance to talk to the committee's professional investigators in a confidential setting.
Bizarrely, to this day Feinstein has not shared a copy of Ford's unredacted letter with Judiciary Committee Chairman Charles E. Grassley, R-Iowa. But Democrats appear not to have been too scrupulous when it came to protecting her confidentiality.

Indeed, no reasonable prosecutor would agree to bring a case. But in the court of public opinion, the standards of evidence seem to be much lower. This much is certain: The standard of evidence to ruin a man's reputation cannot be zero.

The problem is that the “leadership” doesn’t lead. There was no punishment to McCain for his treachery with Obamacare. Femnazis and their fellow maniacs don’t have to convince Republicans. They only care about (1)giving Flake and Collins an excuse to vote in a way that hurts Trump and (2)create an environment where they’ll keep all of the dems on board.
K needs to sue this little tart and her handlers....
She’s already protected or she would have not stuck her creepy old neck out there.
I agree and believe DiFi is the major culprit in this fiasco, she should be booted from the Judiciary Committee and preferably the Senate which won’t happen.
Judge Kavanaugh probably should take legal action but I doubt he will.
Let’s see...This bimbo and her dizzy teenybopper friends boast about the boys they willing have sex with at wild parties but she didn’t tell them about a rape attempt, an UNWANTED advance ???
The next day when they were comparing notes and the performance of the boys the night before she didn’t happen to say in passing “Oh and one boy came on to me last night even though I told him NO” ???
Yeah and Elvis was sighted at that same party...maybe it was him...
If they were both at the same event it could have been that she came on to him and he said NO to her...
women generally do not like men being thrown under the bus for suspect complaints.......believe me, it drives me crazy when women don’t support women but that’s the way it is..
Zip, nada, nothing. It’s the seriousness of the accusation that is paramount not evidence against it.
In the era of #metoo, it doesn’t matter whether the allegations are true of false, especially when the ends of the accusations is to end the nomination of a person to sit on the Supreme court, with the second goal being to stop Trump at all costs.
The ends justifies the means, even if the allegations are false and the accuses is innocent and end up being tainted for life.
She already got away with this crap at least once before.
The unending Inquisition will be all there is in DC if every single solitary Republican voter doesn’t push, pull, or drag themselves to their polling places this November.
can we remove the word “rape” in talking about these supposed allegations.....nobody is accused of rape, at least not now, but maybe when she thinks about it some more...

I have to agree.
This is how I got attached to all three of my wives, and the lion’s share of the girls I dated.
Women rule in the social world.

No evidence. You just need a willing media apparatus to spread lies, a willing population of lemmings that are still throwing a temper tantrum that she didn’t win, corrupt politicians, and if you watch any video of the protesters-a segment of the population that is so blinded by their hatred of all things Trump and Conservative, that they will not even discuss or acknowledge the verified actions of Ellison
I am reminded of the Salem witch trial
Yes...and Kavanaugh did have a cauldron in his room during senior high...right?
The customary Rat regard for facts. "What difference at this point, what difference does it make?"
Feinstein looked like she was in actual pain. Whatever it is, there is a good reason why they don’t want a lawyer questioning her, particularly a female one from the GOP.
Before you have "strong evidence" you have to have some evidence, any evidence, to begin with.
This case is void of any evidence at all. Just vague "recollections" of a drunken party and teenage antics four decades ago.
But the Left doesn't need evidence. They just need to make-up stories and throw them out there for their base to believe. Evidence and facts are immaterial to what they are doing here.
They are simply trying to destroy Kavanaugh with nothing based in reality.
WRKO’s Jeff Kuhner has just brought up the likelihood of a mistaken identity.
Kavanaugh knows he would lose the case. K. would have to prove that Ford knew that her claim was false, and that she made it with intent to harm him. Even if solid proof emerges that the incident didn’t happen, or that K was not the culprit, Ford can claim she truly believed it/repressed memory, oops. Next, her claim was made in a private letter with a request for confidentiality. She can say she wasn’t the one who promulgated it — Congresswoman Ewok and Sen Feinstein did; sue them. Then she can claim that she had no intent to harm K., just doing her duty to inform the Senate.
All of this, plus her detail-free allegations, is a tell that lawyers directed her hoax from the get go. Building in layers of defense before the fact is a Clinton fingerprint. Senate should question her on all her contacts with attorneys (naming names, dates, times, correspondence, subject matter, etc.), officially representing her or just giving “free advice”, directly or indirectly, for the last 7 years.
Tawana Brawley, Duke Lacrosse, Univ of Virginia, all lies.
