They thought for a second she could remain anonymous, but she made a quick decision to reveal herself based Dem operatives telling her she would stop Kavanaugh with a simple press conference and have to speak very little. Maybe do a few interviews with the questions AND ANSWERS ahead of time. Think 60 minutes, et al.

The Left also thought Grassley and Trump would ignore this and then they could use it against them in the Mid-Terms. HA Trump and Grassley were like, give her time in front of the committee. And then give Kavanaugh equal time to defend himself.

They literally thought this was going to be Roy Moore 2.0. Trump is running circles around them. And cherry on top is that Trump order release of Fisa docs and Comey texts.

Oh Happy Day! Dems keep using the old playbook. Doesn't work anymore now that everyone has access to the truth outside of their narrative.

They thought Woodward's book and then this were going to help them in November. Hope they keep using their tired worn out playbook.

Grassley said there won’t be a hearing unless she agrees to come. Kavanaugh is already on record with a categorical denial. He doesn’t need to say anything further.

Subpoena her and her attorney. Compel both of them to testify and if they refuse to show up, arrest them for obstruction.

It could be delayed weeks, months and at the end of that time (when the mid-terms are over), she can just say “sorry, my bad” and slink away.

I can’t stand violence, sadism, etc., and don’t like seeing depictions of it in movies, TV, etc. I just turn off or leave the room.

But I do get kind of aroused over the Rule of Law, and seeing liars and cheaters experience comeuppance under lawful process enforced...
