Barely Coherent: Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg Makes an Appearance…

A few weeks ago American media began heavily promoting a generally odd video of Supreme Court Justice doing a workout. It seemed weird. Today, the motive of putting out that video becomes transparent.

Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg appears at an event hosted by the National Asian Pacific American Bar Association (NAPABA). Watch:

The founding fathers were brilliant but they dropped the ball when they didn’t check and balance the SC.

But the entire "living Constitution" school of jurisprudence since the 60s is what has corrupted and ruined their intentions, not the plan itself. The SCOTUS is supposed to be about interpreting law, not making law. The politics should stop at the courthouse door. But the Congress has made this into a partisan thing. These hearings have demonstrated just how little the Senators and the grassroots understand the proper role of the high court.

Agree. Her words are all perfectly understandable and cogent. In a transcript you’d never imagine there was any issue. Physically though she appears quote frail. Curled up, barely able to lift her head, wearing gloves in summer for some reason. She doesn’t look like someone you could count on to remain well enough to work for years to come.

Sorry, but if you watched that video and found her to be incoherent or mentally deficient, you are simply showing your political bias.

I did not say she was incoherent.

I simply stated that she has diminished capacity and she is not as sharp as she once was. It also seemed to me that she was regurgitating pre formulated and rehearsed answers to the interviewer questions.

That Ginsberg is not as sharp as she once was obvious and perfectly understandable. In recent interviews and unstated public appearances RBG has been incoherent, rambling and confused.

Don’t have any great love for RGB, but go to YouTube and watch her speak at various functions over her career and you earn she was very sharp and able to think on her feet .

She clearly has declined mentally from even a few years ago and she is much diminished from her earlier mental state. No sure she is up to complex legal review and decision making

Yes, she did castigate the partisan process today, but did it dawn on folks that she is a glaring example of that very thing? She refuses to stand down for partisan reasons, and that’s a much worse example of it based on her health status. The woman is barely able to function.

If that’s what you got from my post, so be it.

By using the word “succombing” I was trying to describe the beginning stages. I used the word “ravages” because once it starts, that is what the disease does.
