Judge T.S. Ellis III revealed in open court Friday that he has received death threats relating to his presiding over Paul Manafort’s trial for bank and tax fraud at a federal court in Alexandria, Virginia.
The judge has since retained the protection of the U.S. Marshals Service.
“I have the marshal’s protection,” Ellis said. “I don’t even go to the hotel alone. I won’t even reveal the name of the hotel.”
“I had no idea this case excited this emotion in the public,” he added.

I heard Trey Gowdy on Fox a couple of nights ago really viciously slam Judge Ellis. .but we already knew Gowdy was a phony baloney. . still it was quite shocking to see the extend Gowdy went to openly slam the judge.

This is insane. I don't recognize my country anymore, and it's just getting worse.
It should be death penalty fir anyone threatening a judge or jurist or lawmaker. No questions. Our civilization depends on it.

All of these idle threats are starting to run into money. A few dozen perps should be caught and cooled off in prison for a few years, as examples. I don’t care about the party of the people being threatened. I don’t care if they actually deserve it. This is making the prospect of working in government service very unpleasant.
Just think how upset the media gets just imagining their safety is in question. Heck they start a 300+ newspaper campaign about President Trump’s rhetoric putting the media in danger.
Yet the same media would think nothing of a judge being actually threatened or putting jurors lives in danger. In fact thats what they desire to stir up.
I've been saying this for a long time. If they manage to get Trump and that bitch is still free then war is fairly likely I'd say.
