A little weird to think about how many problems some ppl could cause if a lot more WiFi and phone networks are labeled with ominous names.
Stuff like "FBI Surveillance Van" is probably harmless, but stuff related to bombs or attacks could cause a lot of these kinds of evacuations.

“...WiFi connection found one named remote detonator,”...”

There is home network I can see named “You’re an A***ole”
It’s pretty funny. I think it is from the house behind us.

Yes, because in the ISIS security operations manual it says in chapter four to label all wifi networks >>clearly<<.

I know in this day and age this is not supposed to be funny, but a wifi router/hub named “remote detonator”, now that’s funny.

Curses!
The terrorist was foiled because he forgot to unset the "Broadcast SSID" option on the router config...

About a dozen years ago, one of my kids commented on how boring the network SSID names were in my neighborhood. He said one of the SSID’s in his apartment was something like “we can hear you having sex in Apartment 107”.
Maybe “remote detonator” is a VPN?

"...remote detonator..."
That is a person with a wry sense of humor. Very funny.
They could have made it more authentic with some misspellings. :-).

Mine is “DEA Surveillance Van”, but I will admit I like remote detonator. My car has it’s own WiFi, so I might change it to remote detonator. I know, I am being childish. ;>)

Anyone who panics over an SSID shouldn’t be in a position to panic anyone else.
Sheesh.
I name my SSID “Unavailable” because it is.
