Tough morning thinking that “We the People” were lied to again by our President (remember Bush). Let’s hope he is smarter than US.
I am surprised it has taken this long for him to announce this - to me this is/was the obvious solution and couldn’t understand why it wasn’t put out there earlier - protecting our borders is clearly a proper use of the military, and $20B is a drop in the bucket for their budget.
With all due respect to the President I will believe this when the engineers are deployed and the dirt begins to fly.

Perfect timing! All of those DC UniParty Pukes are back home now for their two-week Easter Holiday and are going to have to answer for what they just did!
When they get back to DC, with their asses, shredded and in ziplock bags, I don’t think they are going to be in a mood to fight the plan of the DoD to “conduct combat engineering pioneering exercises” along the southern border.
This DoD activity will be much easier than a similar one my late Grandfather supported back in the 40s, building the ALCAN Highway and supporting Dawson Pipeline.
The CB’s will get it done...finally. After 2 years of steady bullshit on this subject, it’s about time for some action.
I agree. Until I had a signed contract, deposit and materials delivered, there was no celebration. I will maintain my faith that Trump delivers,it was shaken but not broken. If he can do this, just the reaction from the left is enough to make me happy. Let’s pray.
