After infringing on 2A I guess he had to toss a bone to his robotic followers. I would not vote for anyone in power who even joked about due process. That is a fundamental right like 2A.

I hate to say it but I have a feeling that the wall is going to be like one of those road expansion projects that seems to go on in perpetuity but never seems to accomplish much progress. There will be some tractors laid out, stacks of construction supples stationed nearby, and a few segments built up to show the press.

I agree, whole heartedly.
Trump gets done what he wants to get done. The rest is not a concern, or at least not a priority.
When he came in he fulfilled tons of his promises. It was impressive. But if you look at those promises you’ll see that they were all of his things from day 1. The rest (Abortion, Religious issues, and RKBA) were promised but nothing has been done.
I said this from day 1 as well (And I’m a big fan of Trump) that he doesn’t want the presidency. He found an opportunity to help him and his out to make sure they had a prosperous legacy. His grandkids. And he would die to ensure their future. And by doing so, he would be ensuring our grandkid’s futures as well.
He’s a good man, but this shows that he will do all sorts of gymnastics for his own agenda, while anything that isn’t directly on his table gets postponed, cancelled, or flat-out lied about.
