The thought of Civil War has been in the minds of many people lately, on both sides of the political and cultural divide. This is not a thing to be wished for, though no one should kid themselves into believing it’s impossible either. Let us take a sober look at what such a conflict might entail.
To begin with, it would not look like the first American Civil War, which was essentially a war between two regions of the country with different economic interests. The divide created two separate countries, both initially contiguous, intact, and relatively homogeneous. The lines of demarcation now are only somewhat regional, and tend to correspond to differences between urban and rural populations, as well as differences of race and class.

Camp Grayling is mostly a Guard and Reserve training base, minimum manning. Even though I was in the Air Force I ended up on a team that played the Opposition Forces for the Army troops training up there. Had a lot of fun beating up on the Army and made many of them mad when we beat them.

So, oh genius one, why not explain just HOW "air power" is going to ace things for the government?? "Air Power" has a LOT of different parts. Which ones are going to ace all those snipers with scopes "behind every blade of grass" that are picking off their pilots on their way to get a beer??? The Russians tried a lot of air power in Afghanistan and it didn't seem to get them a lot of leverage.
"Air Power" is also usable by the "resistance". Picture replacing the plastic props of a bunch of small drones with razor-sharp metal bladed props. You could probably slice a lot of throats in relative stealth. One cheap drone for one copter pilot.....sounds like a fair trade to me.
Just like the MSM and the statements aired about white privilege. Getting ready for white genocide.

John Titor claimed to be a time traveler from 2037. He described a future where the USA broke down and a civil war ensued. If you are interested in the possibility of a USA civil war, then I suggest you google him and investigate his story. It seems that your scenario is what will happen.

If you’ve happened to come across me on these boards you know that I’m curious in a little character called ‘John Titor’. For those of you that don’t know, let me give you a brief rundown.
A few years ago, a guy by the name of ‘John Titor’ surfaced on the internet claiming that he was a time traveller from the year 2036. Pretty extraordinary claim for anyone, yet he displayed that he has somewhat of an impressive scientific background and backed his story decently (complete with photos, diagrams, and a literal manuscript of statements/predictions that have either come true, been ‘misinterpreted’, or still waiting to actualize)
Out of the many predictions stated by John Titor, he claimed that the USA will be thrown into a Civil War beginning in 2005.
Earlier this year I had a thread suggesting that the onset of this war may be sparked at the Presidents inaugural speech. While there was civil unrest throughout the country, no Civil war occurred. However, 2005 is no where near complete.
Recently, I’ve been checking out the predictions of a few popular psychics. I was somewhat stunned to see that Titor’s prediction of war in 2005 has correlated with the predictions of popular psychics. This is not a confirmation of an imminent civil war in 2005. But it is damn interesting…

While not exactly a Civil War, Titor claimed that a World War would eventually occur and that we will only realize this when it is far too late.

Terrorist attack, this does not rule out a domestic terrorist attack which could be implicated in an American Civil War. Note, John Hogue states ‘Major Events that will define the next 36 years of Human History’. From those who have read up upon the ‘Titor-like future’ then you will agree that
1.) Something extreme happened
2.) It defined human history as we know it
Now Titor claims that he lives in 2036, if in 2008 there is an event that changes the next 36 years of history, then this change will ultimately begin in 2008 and end in 2044. All that we know of Titor claims is bound by the year 2036. We do not know what comes in the next 8 years. However we do know that in the year 2036, life is drastically different that what we are accustomed to.

The only "FR rules" I know of are these: "Please: NO profanity, NO personal attacks, NO racism or violence in posts."
Beyond that, people post most any foolish thing they wish, seems to me.
Indeed, many would quickly flip your "FR rules" by responding: our Republic was overthrown many years (decades, generations, wars) ago, I simply advocate restoring our Founders' Republic, as they intended it."
Point is: Conservatives don't normally do "revolution", instead we're all about restoring the Constitution and, yes, making American great again.
Today we have the upper hand, thank you Mr. Trump.

70% conservative would represent the high-water mark of Obama administration corruption of our military.
Normally (i.e., starting this year) the number would be far higher.
But remember, our military is sworn by solemn oath to preserve, protect & defend the US Constitution.
If/when push came to shove, they will side with those representing the Constitution.

If conservatives can hold majorities long-term, the nation will be reset aright.
But when the Left takes over (as we saw), they employ law-enforcement to oppress conservatives.
But that only works until law enforcement realizes they've been used as partisan political weapons.
Then things can get...ah, unstable...
