The mayor of Houston was on the tube today explaining why there was not complete mandatory evacuation in the city and surrounding area. His explanation, later backed up by experts, made sense.

One of the evil bitches on MSNBCCNN earlier in the afternoon had tried her best to bait conservative Texas governor Abbott into castigating the Houston mayor with a couple of nasty, loaded questions why he didn't order ME...but Abbott neatly and smartly fielded the question and she didn't get to first base with him.

The evil commentators on MSNBCCNN aren't wasting a minute politicizing the hurricane and flood...and they're just getting started.

Today the mayor, tomorrow FEMA, then the next three months....President Trump.

Has anyone heard from Hollywood? Where is Sean Penn launching his boat? Have they written to song to uplift flooded homeowners? They don’t seem relevant anymore.

Katc.com has this article about the Cajun Navy being shot at by looters. Looters wanted to use boats for looting -- is the claim...

Cajun Navy member says he was shot at during news report of Houston flooding

Excerpt from the article:

As Harvey continues dumping rain on East Texas and the waters there continue to rise, people are starting to panic, rushing rescue boats and even shooting at them if they don't stop, a volunteer told CNN.

Clyde Cain, of the Cajun Navy, a Louisiana-based rescue force that gained fame during Hurricane Katrina, said in one instance, a boat broke down, and while the crew sought shelter in a delivery truck, people tried to steal the inoperable boat.

"They're making it difficult for us to rescue them," he said. "You have people rushing the boat. Everyone wants to get in at the same time. They're panicking. Water is rising."

Jeff Lindner tweeted that the amount of water that has fallen HARRIS COUNTY ALONE over the last 4 days would run Niagra Falls for 15 days.

Wow.

WAPost already waxing on how they hope the Hurricane will cost Trump votes in Texas in 2020.

Their farticle, cooked out by some lib professors goes on about how some flooding along the Mississippi in 1928 hurt Hoover. And falsely claims that hurricane in 2012 didn’t help Obama, sure as hell was the reason he took Staten Island.

Healthcare impacts by the numbers:

*27 hospitals have closed and/or evacuated patients from the Texas Gulf Coast due to Hurricane Harvey
*An estimated 1500 patients have been evacuated from area hospitals
*CHI St. Lukes in Houston and Sugar Land completed evacuations late Monday
*Memorial Hermann Sugar Land Hospital also evacuated 75 patients Monday
*Another 25 hospitals have reported storm-related problems that hamper their ability to accept new patients
HCA Corpus Christi re-opened its hospital and behavior health center Tuesday

Update Ben Taub Hospital: Reversed its decision to evacuate 345 patients. Flooding prevented safe ground transport. The hospital was able to repair a water main break, restore its kitchen, and received a food delivery. The hospital is discharging about two dozen patients to prepare for new patients expected as the flood waters recede.
