..... Not jumping to conclusions on this one ... It’s an Apartment building and a whole lotta things can happen there. Grease fire, Gas Leak, Meth Lab, ..... Ramadan Tree catching on fire ....
They have different building codes in UK.
In the US, the exterior of a high rise must be made of fire resistive material. In the rest of the World, this is not a requirement.
Remember the tower fire in Dubai a couple of years back? Sparks from fireworks set the exterior of a skyscraper on fire, and the flames quickly spread up the whole side of the building.
As bad as it is, if people get to the core of the building and get down and out, it is probably a survivable fire. The flames do not look like they are coming from inside the building. It is just the skin of the building that is on fire. Get down and get out.
I find it amazing that people build skyscrapers out of flammable material, but that is the standard in much of the World.

Almost unheard of for a modern high-rise to be so engulfed in flames. Arson? Someone going from floor to floor, setting new fires?
I almost thought that but went with Moose Limbs instead.

I somehow doubt shoddy construction. The Brits are phobic about fire construction, blocks, prevention, systems of all kinds. They fairly put us to shame in that regard.
I would not be surprised if ISIS will claim responsibility. Even if ISIS had nothing to do with it, it would terrorize the public.

The sun is coming up and building still in flames. Still evacuating.
No mention of any deaths yet, but obviously there will be many. :-(

North Kensington - tower block fire
Forty fire engines and over 200 firefighters and officers have been called to a tower block fire on the Lancaster West estate in north Kensington this morning.
The Brigade has received multiple calls. The fire is from the second floor to the top floor of the 27 floor building.
Assistant Commissioner Dan Daly said: “Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus are working extremely hard in very difficult conditions to tackle this fire. This is a large and very serious incident and we have deployed numerous resources and specialist appliances.“
The Brigade was called at 0054 and is still at the scene. Fire crews from North Kensington, Kensington, Hammersmith and Paddington and from surrounding fire stations are in attendance.
The cause of the fire is not known at this stage.
Tucker Carlson just said on FOX news there is initial reporting that the fire started on the top floor.

Supposedly the fire has engulfed EVERY SINGLE FLOOR..accident my butt no way is that accidental..someone cooking something, causing a fire yeah I can see that happening..I can even see something electrical starting a fire but on every floor yeah I dont think so
