You've got a point there. Definitely the bright side.
I was against this Trump/Ivanka/Jared menage a troix from the gitgo. It's nothing personal against the Kushners. It was just bad political thinking, bad optics, a distraction to the President's initiatives..... and Ivanka and her husband will continue to be targeted by the Left for nepotism and more for the next four years without let-up.
Every thing the President does will be open to the charges that Ivanka and/or Jared "put it into his ear", mark my words. The Left is already doing it...and it will continue without cessation.
All family advice to President Trump should be confined to the breakfast table or his office, figuratively speaking. This was done during the campaign and should have continued this way. I'm well aware of the reasons Trump appointed the duo to his inner security circle....but the downside of the scenario will continue to overcome his good reasons for the two appointments.
The drumbeat will continue on and on, from liberals and conservatives alike (due to the Kushner's liberal leanings).
Unfortunately, this unfolding situation is akin to the message excerpted from an old proverbial saying....it will be the "gift that keeps on giving".

I don't think anyone here hates Jared and Ivanka. Those of us expressing misgivings about her and her husband's appointments to the President's inner circle, are doing so for very pragmatic and sensible reasons.
The longer it takes for them to prove themselves to be real assets, the harder it will be for them to continue in their current roles.
So, did this clown ask why the obviously male transvestite Mooche was attending “women’s’” events?
Trying to reason with those Euroweenies, especially the Germans, is a waste oftime. I hate that sow Merkel.
Most of those who object to Trump giving power to Ivanka and Jared do so because we support Trump big time. But we believe that with all good intentions, the couple do harm to Donald and our movement.

You ask what was she doing there? We do know the answer to that. She is so beautiful and a democrat... The Donald was also. I wonder what his sons are... they seem to be more conservative... but do not know.

Merkel’s a crafty politician and probably knew the reaction Ivanka would get and that it would be used to hurt Donald.

Ivanka and Jared have brought the liberal swamp into the WH. Ivanka is a mindless Manhattan Democrat pushing a new childcare entitlement for parents making up to $300K a year. And one of her stated pet issues is climate change, for which Rick Perry just stated that we won’t leave the Paris accord as Trump promised on his campaign.
Even in Germany she was bragging on stage about how she was going to move her father’s admin to the left.
And there is good reason that nepotism is frowned upon at every level of government.
I agree. You don’t put yourself as the target of a shooting match. Ivanka does not understand leftist politics. Heck, the left hated Mother Theresa! Plus, Europeans are not known for their great respect and love for Jews.

Maybe some people need to consider the situation with what Trump has been dealing with from Congress dragging its feet in chain irons for approving his appointment requests. He does not have the full confidence in those in and around the administrative seats he needs to move policy forward.
So who does he go to for some trusted counseling? That’s right, the daughter he is still raising to be at these silly confabs as a stand-in. Or would some here prefer he send some of the hold-overs still festering in the leviathan?
Trump knows the limitations imposed on him by the Swamp and he is progressively setting the infrastructure to start the draining once he has the resources to do so. In the mean time, he is setting up an entire list of swamp creatures for failure and ultimate dismissal. Paul Ryan being top of the list and the one who is taking the greatest fall because all swamp creatures suffer from one major weak point, arrogance. The district courts are next. They keep playing their arrogant “bigger than thou” games and it is showing, all who are in any way paying attention, how their arrogant behavior is simply appalling.
Trump plays long ball constantly. He is setting the rules of the new game in town while all the true bitter-clingers know nothing more than the old game and refuse to acknowledge theirs is over. The Trump hammer will come down hard now that Gorsuch is on the job and soon another will also be placed making the court decidedly constructionist. Once that is done, the cases will be submitted and ruled on that basis. Then whenever RBG gives it up, either the bench or the ghost, one more will be added and the liberals will do everything in their power to keep cases from even being considered by SCOTUS.
Until then, it will seem agonizingly slow, especially with the LSM doing everything in its power to propagate a failing administration when we all will know otherwise because of the reality of the changes in our lives.

Ivanka is doing fine. Jeered by liberals? That is what the left does. After losing all 3 bastions of power and the SCOTUS as well, what else can the liberals do except protest?

Ivan & her hubby advised candidate Trump. That worked out pretty darn well if you recall. He continues to value their advice & has every reason in the world to keep them where they are.

When valid criticism is offered it brings about good discussions. This BS regarding the Kushners is just crap on both ends.
Those “lefties” advised Trump all the way into the White House. Pretty good thing, right? President trusts them to give him good advice.
Either you trust President Trump or you don’t. So tell us, please. Do you trust President Trump?
