Maybe some people need to consider the situation with what Trump has been dealing with from Congress dragging its feet in chain irons for approving his appointment requests. He does not have the full confidence in those in and around the administrative seats he needs to move policy forward.
So who does he go to for some trusted counseling? That’s right, the daughter he is still raising to be at these silly confabs as a stand-in. Or would some here prefer he send some of the hold-overs still festering in the leviathan?
Trump knows the limitations imposed on him by the Swamp and he is progressively setting the infrastructure to start the draining once he has the resources to do so. In the mean time, he is setting up an entire list of swamp creatures for failure and ultimate dismissal. Paul Ryan being top of the list and the one who is taking the greatest fall because all swamp creatures suffer from one major weak point, arrogance. The district courts are next. They keep playing their arrogant “bigger than thou” games and it is showing, all who are in any way paying attention, how their arrogant behavior is simply appalling.
Trump plays long ball constantly. He is setting the rules of the new game in town while all the true bitter-clingers know nothing more than the old game and refuse to acknowledge theirs is over. The Trump hammer will come down hard now that Gorsuch is on the job and soon another will also be placed making the court decidedly constructionist. Once that is done, the cases will be submitted and ruled on that basis. Then whenever RBG gives it up, either the bench or the ghost, one more will be added and the liberals will do everything in their power to keep cases from even being considered by SCOTUS.
Until then, it will seem agonizingly slow, especially with the LSM doing everything in its power to propagate a failing administration when we all will know otherwise because of the reality of the changes in our lives.
