It was a curious scene at the W20 summit in Berlin that was bound to leave people scratching their heads — even before Ivanka Trump invited jeers from a female-dominated audience by defending her father’s support for families and women’s empowerment.

NY liberals are a special breed- just like California liberals are- other parts of the country they are more center liberals- o just left of center- places like NY, Cali, Conn, Chicago etc- you see a far left breed of liberals- There are still states out there where the majority of liberals don’t believe there are 50 different genders- or that selling baby parts is A-OK- these states and counties are getting fewer- but you have to admit- some states the liberal populations have thrown out a greater deal of morality than other states-

MAYBE Ivanka and Di would have been friends. We do know — no “maybe” about it — that Ivanka IS friends with Chelea Clinton and Caroline Kennedy. She needs to disappear from the White House. Discernment issues.

I would characterize it more as perplexity and exasperation.
Many Freepers think President Trump is making a mistake by bringing his young daughter and son-in-law on as advisors. Most especially because they appear for all intents and purposes to be social liberals with a dearth of life experience. They also maintain close associations with some very high profile lib-dems.
It's a combination of these, and other factors, that are troubling to many people.
There's also the plain weirdness factor. What president has ever brought his own kid on board as an advisor? Even if that 'kid' had a fair amount of life experience and professional grade seasoning, most people would look askance at the appointment - especially if it was a twofer, like Jared and Ivanka.
