Jones is a Jim Hunt democrat; no matter how he is registered. Hunt’s administrations were among the most corrupt in NC history.

Watch McCain and Graham.

McCain has been one of the key s**tbirds in this oblique coup since the beginning, likely working with both Obama and Clinton. Graham is either McCain's remora, or his minder, but either way, he's deep enough into it to be part of that team. Once you've been in the senate - carpetbagger or not - the Corrupt Bastards Club proves to be a most congenial place… unless you really ARE a conservative.

In the house, gadfly Walter Jones is simply being a useful idiot this morning.

Here is another example of Rep Walter Jones from NC-3 (R +10 voting demographic) with freedom caucus member Mark Sanford (know for his fake AT hiking affair) going after President Trump. No going after Chairman Nunes ... I wonder why Rep. Jones is so concerned about what Chairman Nunes knows ...

Two House Republicans joined congressional Democrats Friday in signing a letter demanding the release of President Trump’s tax returns. North Carolina’s Walter Jones and South Carolina’s Mark Sanford were the only two members of the GOP to sign the letter, which asks the Senate Committee on Finance and the House Ways and Means Committee to demand the Treasury Department turn over Trump’s tax returns from the last decade. The letter says the returns should be made available to members of the two committees in a “closed” session, with the eventual goal of “making them available to the public.”

Sessions had to recuse himself for a simple reason: Being a part of the campaign team means that if there is an investigation of the campaign, he would have to recuse himself.

What he did was completely appropriate and standard.

What they are arguing in this case is, well, stupid.

The reports I’ve seen indicate that the information comes from Obama-era daily intelligence briefings. I imagine it’s a bit complex to get them introduced to a Congressional committee. I wouldn’t be surprised if all these theatrics are now aimed at shutting the whole investigation down completely.

My #1 guess is that Jones is implicated in the intelligence info.

Has he been taking bribes? Sex with little girls? Little boys?

People who attack the messenger are afraid of the message.

Remember Trump’s statement to Tucker Carlson that interesting things would be coming out in the next couple of weeks? Seems like again, he’s right.

The Dems are acting more unhinged than normal.

That’s a good sign!
