Csting his ObamaCare replacement bill as the only chance to save America from a complete health-care collapse, Speaker Paul Ryan Sunday countered his conservative critics who say the bill fails to make good on Republicans' promise to repeal ObamaCare.
"Understand the speaker’s plan doesn’t repeal ObamaCare," a member of the House Republicans' Freedom Caucus, Rep. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio), said Sunday. "Even Charles Krauthammer said that, called it ObamaCare Lite, as you said earlier. It doesn’t bring down premiums and it doesn’t unite Republicans. So, why not do what we all voted for just 15 months ago, clean repeal, and then get focused and build some momentum to actually replace ObamaCare with something that’s going to bring down costs?"
Ryan said his bill, called the American Health Care Act, is in fact the only way to successfully repeal ObamaCare.
"Look, when you are a governing party getting consensus among your wide, big-tent party, not — everybody doesn’t get what they want, but we are getting much better policy here," the Speaker of the House said of his conservative critics. "Let me put it this way: Obamacare is collapsing. If we just did nothing, washed our hands of the situation, we would see a further collapse of the health insurance markets. So we feel an obligation to step in front of that collapse and replace this law with one that works, that has more freedom."

I am getting sick and effing tired of the scare tactics on both sides:
If we do Ryan’s bill we lose the majority. If we don’t, we lose the majority. If we do, it is obamacare-lite. If we don’t, we own Obamacare.
Enough with these GOP congresscritter beothces. Do your damn jobs and hammer out a bill. Get in a room and start working rather than counting down the days to the next recess. If I were Trump I would call a meeting. Aske Ron Paul, Ted, Tom and GOP Study group, to give tneir top four things that they want in the bill. Ryan should give his. Now, let’s negotiate from there and make sure that what makes it into this bill does the number uno thing most Americans care about, the thing that impacts their wallet, namely, lowering the effing premiums. Number two, let’s see how we can cover people without requiring them to buy insurance that covers everything including a hang nail.
Oh, and one more thing. Can we stop the reconciliation as an excuse and BS. The Dems passed this entire nightmare using reconciliation. We sure as shit can kill it using the same method without remorse.
I know, harder than it sounds. But at this point all I am seeing is Ryan and the Paul group (for lack of a better term) shouting “take it or leave it” at each other. That is never the “art of the deal.”

We don’t need to pass obama care, just go back to the system before obama care passed. Why do we need Gov control our healthcare which no one want? The old system covered High risk pool, pre- existing pool, Medicaid... Why do we need a Evil new system?

We need a FULL REPEAL OF OBAMACARE - PERIOD!!!
Go back to the old system and encourage cost savings, negotiations with doctors and drug companies, tort reform, and other measures to lower costs to patients.
They are so concerned about people losing their coverage - these include:
1) 11+ millions illegals
2) 6-10 million under the age of 26 and living with parents
3) under 8 million chronically ill
Quit pandering to these people and start SERVING hard working AMERICANS.

If Ryan were so freaking worried about healthcare, why did he exclude so many conservative leaders for so long and then drops the mysterious curtain just to sell manure to a pig farmer?

Letting Obamacare collapse on it’s own is better than pushing through an Obamacare lite bill.
Of course Obamacare is collapsing, everyone knows that it would and it is.
How is that the Republican’s problem? Democrats created this mess and they aren’t doing a damn thing about it .. except criticizing people who had nothing to do with it.
Trump needs to hammer on that. Also, just because the Democrats created a failed plan doesn’t constitute a crisis for Republicans to fix it.
I wish all the parts of Obamacare were allowed to go online so we can see even more of the problems with it. A lot of it was delayed or deferred, such as the employer mandates.
We know Obamacare was a lost cause from day one, but Democrats need to “see what’s in it” before they will believe it. Now they can just say that it wasn’t allowed to fully blossom.
