Why do you have to say you’re a “gay” vet?
Why not just march?
At BEST, it’s nothing to be proud of, at WORST you can end up in a place worse than Chicago after you die.

They certainly feel entitled, now that those in charge made the mistake of letting them march in the first place.

As a veteran myself, I don’t care. It isn’t a veterans’ parade.

Maybe their day in the sun is over and nobody in Boston thinks they are special.
PS: Why not march as VETERANS instead of the village people?

I suspect they were denied due to their application was past the deadline, or they did not send the entry fee or something along that line.

They should all be required to provide a copy of their DD214. One with THEIR name on it.

This Irishman, sadly, has only attended one Saint Patrick's Day Parade in his life...four or five years ago in NYC.Beautiful sunny day...the trees in Central Park were starting to bloom...warm (for March,at least)...incredible experience.IIRC it was the next year that they announced that the perverts would be allowed to march.
Well,at least I got to attend one in my life...and got some great photos.

Why don’t these veterans respect the values of St Patrick on his day?

To promote the evil, vile behavior of sodomy in a parade based on a saint is oxymoronic. There is no “Right” to sodomize others and to promote such a vile, meaningless, degrading act, and parade it to children, as if it is a “virtue” is sick and disgusting.
A Justice System only promotes ‘public virtue” since virtue is necessary for Freedom. Sodomy is always a vice and a degrading use of one’s own body and that of others. Vice creates slaves and addicts only-—who can never be free. (Socrates). The Justices who made sodomizing others a “Right” ought to be in prison for Treason and destroying our Constitution which is based on Natural Law Theory-—Common Sense, Science and Right Reason.

OutVets, which marched in Bostons 2015 St. Patricks Day parade after decades of resistance from organizers, said on its Facebook page that the reason for the denial to this years parade is unclear, but one can only assume its because we are LGBTQ. I'm guessing it's because they are veterans. In liberal strongholds like Boston, veterans will always take second place over homosexuals.
