#BREAKING Attorney General Sessions to hold press conference at 4 pm et
(Excerpt) Read more at twitter.com ...
I'm betting he has everything verifiable and in black and white.
In other words, he has indisputable evidence of all his dealings with Russia and other nations AS A SITTING AND ACTIVE UNITED STATES SENATOR.
There was Sessions in September of 2016, not even appointed to any Trump office, and he was supposedly working with Russia on Trump’s behalf.
He had endorsed Trump, but his involvement in the campaign wasn’t high profile. He was more or less a consultant for Trump when needed. He may have attended a few rallies.
1. Russia has never been proven to have been involved in the election at any time!
2. How could Sessions be involved in an effort that didn’t even exist?
3. When that reporterette mentioned, “...at the height of Russian involvement...”, why didn’t Sessions ask her for any proof whatsoever that Russia was ever involved at all?
4. The media narrative must be confronted. There has not been, does not exist now, or ever will exist that Russia did something that was physically impossible.
5. The U.S. election machines are not electronically accessible over the internet. The election counting machines are not accessible over the internet.
Will some high level Republican please put on their big-boy pants and tell this to the American public every time the Leftist press infers a big conspiracy!
You write like an anal retentive, hateful, miserable, old fool.
There is a huge difference between this and resigning. Let the Civil War begin.
And 0bama/Clinton holdovers at DOJ can investigate Flynn and Trump’s Russian ‘connections.’
This is a brick toward impeachment, with the ability of the Deep State to manufacture and slip in false information into the files.
Yes, I did. And the presser was as much a nothingburger as the original smear.
I've never seen more hysteria, other than from the Left.
Are some Freepers trying to give the Left a run for their money with respect to overreacting to nothingburgers?
I saw a dozen posts on this thread where there were Freepers actually wringing their hands that AG Sessions would resign!
Absolute, unhinged detachment from reality.
It seems that no matter how many times the Establishment and Media (but I repeat myself) destroy their own credibility, there's always some overwrought Freeper who is willing to give credence to the next nothingburger that comes down t he pike.
That's exactly what happened here, and many of you "Nervous Nellies" fell for it hook, line, and sinker...
I agree though don’t give a rat an inch.
Ah, the Russians are coming. Putin must be smiling at how the Democrats and even some GOPe are panicking, making the Russians seems so powerful and important. Next time, when there might be a real concern regarding Russians, most people will dismiss it as just more drama.
That’s the 2nd hysterical post you made in the past few minutes.
It was already a PITA listing to some batty woman from Texas have meltdowns during the election, now you are back to it again.
Jesus, just shut the hell up and have something to drink if you get that stressed.
Trump should have been all over this and he wasn’t. Totally disappointed. It now has the appearance Sessions did something wrong, and it vindicated the Dems. Perception is everything! Trump knows this and didn’t say shit!
By removing himself he admits he’s guilty ...he should’ve just brushed it off!! Sessions added more fuel to the fire!
My opinion: Trump isn’t going to “fire” until he sees the whites of their eyes. He’s going to have them dead-to-rights (i.e. by the short hairs) so there is no escape. I also suspect he’s got some plans in the works where people are being given plenty of rope to hang themselves & they are doing just that. You don’t fire and miss at folks like the ones he needs to take out for treason, sedition, espionage, leaking, pedophilia & what all else they’ve been up to during the last 8 years or beyond. If he gets R’s as well as D’s, that’s fine by me. Right now, there are plenty of RINO/NeverTrumper types fragging Trump & those supporting his agenda to turn the country around & drain the swamp - the fraggers need to go ... to prison sounds good to me. Trump is a smart guy & he has fooled/surprised the media, Dems & a lot of other folks many times & risen to the occasion every time. Those he relies on for advice are not stupid either. I’m going to trust him to take care of this, but as a reality check, Sessions said he’s only been in office 3 weeks & doesn’t even have all of his staff yet (appointments STILL being held up). Once the Trump train picks up speed with all hands aboard, some folks are going to get run over & but good - can’t happen soon enough.
Okay, you’ve convinced me. There’s no way we can win.
Let’s just surrender now and embrace the new world order.
(is /sarc necessary?)
I have pre-schoolers in my extended family with more fortitude than I find here on a typical FreeRepublic thread.
Most Americans -- or at least those who matter -- would shower the Russians with praise and adulation if they found out that the Russians were responsible for Hillary Clinton's loss in the 2016 election.
Here we go the spin.....Cavuto just said he is nit sure the recusal is enough. This is just ridiculous.
I agree. Of all the times I’ve seen people around here complain about Republicans not having a spine, when it comes time for them to have a spine they run around in hysterics.
So why the need to recuse himself?
Aaaarrrggghhhh.....enough capitulating to these establishment rats!!
Sarah, of course, is right, again!!!
Now he can’t investigate Hillary or Trump. He better not let go of voter fraud. That is the biggie.
He shouldn’t be spending his time on pot unless it is a diversion for the press of what he is really working on.
