Federal immigration authorities arrested at least 160 illegal aliens over multiple days and across multiple states in what the U.S. Department of Homeland Security is calling routine immigration enforcement actions.
Department of Homeland Security spokesperson Gillian Christensen confirmed to the Washington Post that routine immigration enforcement actions were taken this week in Los Angeles, California; Atlanta, Georgia; and two other cities that were not identified. The enforcement actions took place at home and workplaces.
The spokesperson noted it was an unprecedented step to issue statements on such raids while they were ongoing, but fast-spreading social media commentary triggered the agency to comment in this case.
U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) attested that 160 illegal aliens were arrested in the southern Californian region, including Los Angeles, according to NBC San Diego. The report stated that those with criminal histories and deportation orders were targeted over a five-day sweep.

Prop 187. I voted for it, as did a majority of Californians.
One thing’s for sure, the price of restaurant food and landscaping is gonna go up :)
We got 8 inches of snow yesterday and waited as long as we could for ONE lousy white kid in this neighborhood to knock to do shoveling for money...nothing.
We finally did it ourselves.
Now with all the new position opening up, I suggest parents boot their kids in the butt to get a job
All Trump had to say was DO YOUR JOBS
Ia this why I am presently stuck on the tarmac in a plane at Seattle-Tacoma Intnl Airport with the Captain broadcasting that “for some reason we are missing a bunch if ground crew today. They just didn’t show up for work. So we have 2 planes waiting ahead of us for our gate. New arrival time at the gate approximately 45 minutes”
Anyone remember that?
Prop. 187. I remember that. Amazed that the judges shot it down.
Hmmmmm. Here’s an idea - a partial amnesty - no, wait, hear me out!
If you are an illegal and voluntarily surrender yourself but give up who your employer was, you still get deported but are not forever barred from applying to legally immigrate later. Then go after the employers.
Watch how fast the illegals’ departure (sans turning themselves in) is hastened by their erstwhile employers. Watch the formal deportations pay for themselves in employer fines.
Went to college in Idaho in the 19080’s with white kids who’d made their tuition money doing bent-back berry pickin’ in the summertime. With the advent of PlayStation and X-Box, kids like that have become hard to find.
Stop for a moment and try to recall the last time we saw this level of immigration enforcement.

I watched FNC Friday. Sticking to their ‘fair and balanced’ meme, every program had a leftist lib discussing the deportations.
Everyone of them mentioned that Obama deported about 3 million, which was more than any other POTUS.
Only a couple of the FNC guests on the opposite side mentioned that the Obama admin. began counting those turned back at the border as ‘deportations’. No one mentioned that Pres. Eisenhower deported about 5 million with Operation Wetback in the 1950s.
Even though they were nothing compared to today, we’d play space invaders for HOURS.
Didn’t stop mom and dad from saying “Get a job”.
Which I did at 15 at K Mart.
Spoiled is as spoiled does.
Anyone know if there could be finders fees?
A hotline you can call or a website where you can report to, and possibly a small compensation for efforts?
I’m just wondering because i run across undocumented worker’s occasionally. They get a job while out of work fathers are standing on street corners holding up a sign asking for work to feed their family.
Its a fact!
You are probably right!
Those Judges were from the 9th Circuit
It would be nice if find some illegals in the MSM to deport, and even deport some supposed legals, I mean communists.
It must be wonderful for ICE and the border guards to actually be able to do their JOBS!
And for the rest of us, it is such a great feeling to see our laws being enforced. If they get welfare etc, deporting them will help our country to save money in so many ways- from schooling to healthcare.
I bet Trump had this up his sleeve as a Plan B- and not a leak of it to the press!
I love it when he flexes his POTUS Muscles ;-) ~Swoon~
I agree. eVerify of all current and future full or part-time, perm or temporary work is key fix. Eliminate the jobs and they have no reason to stay.
And remember, businesses were being told under Obama it was illegal to turn down applicants because they were “undocumented”
Ongoing right now is the Oroville dam situation, right on the very edge of going over its emergency spillway, the damaged main spillway is estimated to need $100 miilion to repair.
Plus ca is about to ask that they need federal disaster assistance.
Those who were arrested and subsequently deported, had to leave all their possessions behind, everything. Now, keep this up for a month or so being very public about it and all of a sudden U-Haul drop-offs south of the border will carry a very huge surcharge and you will see a constant stream across the border and caravans of empty U-Hauls coming back north.
Those with any sense at all will take their welfare afforded goodies and cars back home. The stupid ones will eventually leave because of the drip, drip, drip effect of mandatory e-verify, citizens only welfare and rising roadblocks to all other social access programs.
Actually, Elian was not illegal. He made it here from Cuba and was lawfully allowed to stay. The sticky point became that his mother died on the passage. But he had family legally here who took on the responsibility of supporting him.
This should be the opening sentence between Americans as they meet and greet other Americans in work, business, or play. “Hey, how about all this ICE activity rounding up illegals?” Said loud enough for those around to hear.
This should be spread, unchecked like wildfire across the country. They need to start being afraid, very afraid and thinking about their options.
