In an interview with ABC News that aired earlier this week, President Donald Trump complained to anchor David Muir about the mainstream media’s lack of coverage for the March of Life.
When Mr. Muir asked if Mr. Trump could hear the protesters from the progressive Women’s March on Washington from the White House, Mr. Trump responded, saying:
“No, I couldn’t hear them. The crowds were large, but you will have a large crowd on Friday, too, which is mostly pro-life people. You’re going to have a lot of people coming on Friday. And I will say this, and I didn’t realize this. But I was told. You will have a very large crowd of people. I don’t know as large or larger. Some people said it will be larger. Pro-life people and they say the press doesn’t cover them.”
Mr. Trump boldly referenced the March of Life, which his Vice President Mike Pence will attend, and correctly said it received little to no air-time on the nightly news shows. A report by the Media Research Center released this week found the major television networks gave the Women’s March 129 times more coverage than last year’s March for Life.
Yet, surprisingly (or maybe not) the entire exchange about the two marches was edited out of ABC’s official transcript of the interview.

Yank ABC’s license to operate until they put that his statements back in.
We’ll see how much attention they get when they are off the air.
ABC’s license hinges on it providing information to the public, and a presidential address in it’s entirety would be one such requirement IMO.
If I were President and a “news” organization altered the transcript of what I said in ANY SUBSTANTIVE WAY, I would ban them from the White House or any other access to my administration.
Maybe President Trump (how I love the sound of that!) will do so. Or maybe he has an even better plan.
I think it is reasonable to remove “um” and “er” from a transcript. (I’m sure that cut 0vomit’s transcripts in half.) But I do NOT think changing words, omitting passages, or doing anything that changes the meaning or context of what was said can be called a transcript. Not by an honest person, anyway.

I rarely watch any of the national news outlets or their programs but someone posted a heads up here. I watched and couldn’t believe just how biased the interview was (not that I expected that going in but they’ve gotten much worse). It was pretty obvious they were trying to get a gotcha moment on President Trump that could be used to define and parrot the leftist’s narrative.
The good thing that come from this interview is President Trump made the ABC interviewer look like a fool. The moment he told ABC and the interviewer how they ignore the millions of Americans that support and voted for him, was a homerun for me.
It’s absolutely true what Trump said and I took to sending ABC News an email pointing out how right he is and how terribly biased they are to the point I don’t even pay attention to many in the national leftist news. Not that it really matters to ABC but at least we have a President that will stand up for Americans that these leftist organizations dishonestly and corruptly ignore.

The Marxist controlled mainstream media is digging its own grave as in institution. They are following orders from their bosses. There are in increasing number of people on social media, without direction from anyone, who, through the use of first hand phone photos, are quickly and ably correcting the lies with a large segment of the population, just as President Trump does. The facts are being corroborated with too many sources and show the Marxist media to be little more than purposeful liars.

Now that they’re caught, the next lying move by ABC will be to claim it was edited out “by mistake” or “a technical glitch “.

I then did a web search and found a 2009 ABC interview soon after Obama was inaugurated. Not only was there not a single "OVERTALK" listed, it appears that the interviewer never once interrupted Obama while he was answering. All of his probably many uhs and ahs were not included. An assist, however, was provided by the network to explain an answer where Obama said the exact opposite of what he meant. A full sentence correction was gently inserted in italics.
Will ABC news claim that President Trump's entire answer about coverage of the two marches was during one of these OVERTALKS? They actually do not care what Trump supporters think of them. They lie to get the lie out there and then it becomes "fact". I have already seen two references in foreign press to the "side by side" pictures of inauguration crowds. The leftist press has done this lie-for-a-few-days until the lie is what will show up on any internet search, then admit the lie when the correction will not even be heard by most people, maybe even get suppressed by google ...with words, but the inauguration is the first time I am aware of their doing it with pictures.
CNN had a 360 picture of the inauguration on their website almost as soon as the inauguration was over. All the networks.and other media was there and saw the crowds. They are so dishonest.
I trust the average used car salesman a thousand times more than the media.
Trump should tweet every instance they misrepresent him.

Can’t they report the truth of things that did or are really happening?
