Everything we need is right here. Right under our own feet.
It’s great we’re going to have freedom to produce energy, but we have to be real. If we went full bore we would drive the price down to nothing.
Go, Trump, go! Drill, baby, drill!
$50 trillion?
Huge impact for good wage jobs.

Geez, this guy is too good to be true.
I did not read the whole article since I am shy about getting on some of these pop up infected sites.
But 50 trill? Over how long?
But, I am ALL FOR IT! Figure this aside from that. Take around 5 million acres and times it by an average of $500 an acre and that is about what the forest products industry would contribute to the coffers of the federal government through Timber sales per year. But, 20% of that is by LAW, to go to local school districts, which hasnt been done since the USFS now runs in the red. And 5 miilion acres released for sustainable forestry practices is a very low number.
The dept of interior is a eco freaks paradise. Around 1990 they used to be self sustaining. Then the GHW Bushites got in and after, Clintoons, and they loaded the agency with eco freaks and virtually stopped logging on federal lands.
In the districts I am familiar with, they used to run those offices with 5 to 6 people. Now you go in and there are people crawling over the top of each other to get to the coffee pot to discuss what they wont be doing that day. The SOBs whined because they had 6 sales to administer for one district with 40 people in the office.
At the State DNR office (MI), they had 4 foresters who handled 6 sales each and would put out an additional 8 to 10 sales each in the next year and a half. That meant the forester ran the boundry lines, had to mark it if it was a select cut, did the cruise and paperwork, and put it out on bids. There were a total of 8 people in that office.
I’m not a Trump fan but this is the wise and obvious thing to do. The modern economy runs on energy.

“Trump Promises A $50 Trillion Economic Stimulus”
Does this mean we can each expect a check for at least 10 million dollars?
What other “candidate” could, in a million years, have delivered restoration, recovery and an immediate turn around from impending financial collapse, to a trajectory of HOPE and prosperity, but Trump.
Truly, God has given us a special man for this, our seemingly last hour.
This could collapse Saudi Arabia, which would be interesting.
I’d say that’s a big NO for people.who think Trump might “moderate” on “climate change.”
BTW, Daily Caller is also ranking remember of the so-called goebbelish
let NOT your heart be troubled. and 2ndDivisionVet haven't stopped being #NeverTrumper after all this time, still love reading satire that looks like news to him.
The Saudis will bail out for Switzerland and the Venezuelans will have a revolution as a result.
When will the stimulus package be unleashed? There are too many unemployed for whom this program will mean a new lease on life.
Unleashing all that oil, maybe even building some new refineries, we could possibly see gas prices drop back down to a $1.00 a gallon, maybe lower.
As much as I hate taxes, Michigan could actually double the gas tax and us residents wouldn't even notice or complain just as long as the roads got fixed.
Not tired of winning yet! :-)
I am a big believer in the government staying out of energy from the view point of economic policy. The government does not need to be deciding what companies and / or what technologies are “best”.
I do believe that the government does have a vested interest as a consumer of energy and energy products. As such, it is a reasonable assertion that creating alternatives to existing sources of energy. Nuke power via thorium and coal to liquids are two examples that come to mind. We don’t have to, and should not be investing tax dollars in building those infrastructures. However, pilot programs that show that these technologies are viable I am ok with.
