Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump laid out his energy plan to industry experts Thursday that included policies to unleash $50 trillion from “untapped” oil, natural gas and coal reserves.
Trump said “untapped energy — some $50 trillion in shale energy, oil reserves and natural gas on federal lands, in addition to hundreds of years of coal energy reserves,” according to The Wall Street Journal report on the candidate’s speech at an energy summit in Pittsburgh, Penn.
It’s all part of Trump’s plan to boost lagging energy production on federal lands. Trump said he would open up all federal lands to drilling, mining and even renewable energy — that includes opening more offshore areas to energy production.
Trump also told energy industry executives and insiders he would repel “all unnecessary regulations, and a temporary moratorium on new regulations not compelled by Congress or public safety.”(continued)

The move by Ford today speaks volumes about the likelihood of Trump getting his program through. If Ford is willing to change their plans then it looks very good.
Having lower fuel costs will spark similar growth in most industries. Go Trump.
I’m not a Trump fan but this is the wise and obvious thing to do. The modern economy runs on energy.

Off topic, I know, but I was just on the Ronald Reagan yesterday. My first time on an aircraft carrier, and I’m still in awe and want to go back. I’ve been reading up on Navy related stuff during work now. It was so awesome. I wish I could support her and the fleet somehow as a civilian. Sailors are also looking forward to the change from Bozo to Trump to improve the military. The Reagan museum room on the carrier was pretty damned cool. I got a couple caps for my sons and I to honor the ship.
Part of the stimulus package is not only the production increase of oil,gas and coal but will include the construction of new refineries, modifications to existing refineries and LNG facilities, product loading facilities, enough construction to explode the heads of the greenies.

You realize that our oil companies were very pleased to price their oil at the cartel price when they started jacking it up even though their production price did not go up.
Our local producers were tickled pink about the cartel.
Something has to be set aside for forest fires people.

What other “candidate” could, in a million years, have delivered restoration, recovery and an immediate turn around from impending financial collapse, to a trajectory of HOPE and prosperity, but Trump.
Truly, God has given us a special man for this, our seemingly last hour.
This could collapse Saudi Arabia, which would be interesting.
I’d say that’s a big NO for people.who think Trump might “moderate” on “climate change.”
It is NOT theirs to sell. It all belongs to the states.
All the Federal lands other than natl monuments, which I dont know much about, are managed under a trust.
That is how they got around the constitution under TR, IMO.
Take the trust away because the feds have failed to manage that trust properly, and turn it back to the states. I’d sooner the local counties, but I would take the states even at this point.
Trump is like that great boyfriend you are going out with, who does Everything right, and you are so happy, and so glad you dumped the loser obama!

The ruination of OPEC would be a blow to islam. Perhaps the muzzies will realize they have to play nice for a change and perhaps they will realize they have to re-write their “holy” Koran or else...
The West will not have to be Mr. Nice Guy any more and can tell the muzzies to GFThemselves, and to get their “refugees” out of the West and tell them to blow up their mosques one by one because we need the space for our refineries and LNG facilities. The West must use its oil as a weapon, the same way the muzzies have done since the 1970’s. We can also tell the muzzies to clean up ISIS and start treating the Christians with respect. All this is part of the process we know as MAGA. It is also known as cleaning up the Middle East without firing a shot.
